Good afternoon, my name is Scott Summers, a representative of the Mutant Nation of Krakoa. That might not mean much to you here, and while I don't understand my reason for being brought here against my will, I want you to know that willing to help all of you with whatever problems this world is having. I've... had some experience with different timelines and alternate universes before.

But I need to be clear, that while I'm willing to help all of you, my first priority is and always has been the safety of my people. I come from a world where it has not always been easy to coexist. As is often the case, homo sapiens of our planet tend to attack the things they fear and don't want to understand. If any of your people here in Heropa are any indication, though-- Miss, I already answered your question about my underwear-- I don't think I have muchh to worry about.

I'll save you all from the 'To me, my X-Men,' spiel, but if there are any of mutants out there who know me, I'm really hoping that we can talk.

Humans are narrow-minded little critters, aren't they? Always making such a scene when something more interesting than them shows up. I can almost understand it--must be tough, being so lackluster.

I just don't understand it. A team of superheroes and a team of mutants, and the only difference between the two of them is a single gene, but that marks the difference between a hero and a menace to society.

I want to defend them. We all spent most of our lives doing just that. I'll defend them here, too. But if there are any of them who feel the same way about us as they do back home, then I don't regret knowing what my priorities are.
