A man named Oliver Queen was contacting the Government. There was some talk of unstable dimensions.

I've tried to compile a list of the missing but people haven't been very co-operative and my investigation has come to a few dead ends.

Yeah, I saw people saying they were going to do "something," but it's been weeks and no one is talking. If they're hiding what they found out, then what good are they for us?

I don't know who your friend is but I'm all for investigating the porter. We can't trust the government to give us honest answers.

Beast Island? [That idea is a bit futuristic for him.] Instead of contacting the victims, why not contact those that govern?

I'm not trying to contact the victims. If they're gone, they're not here to contact. But I don't trust the people "in charge" around here to be up front with us either. Someone else said they were looking into it, but I haven't seen anything.

Those they left behind are present. [So the victims aren't all gone.] There are other matters I wish to approach the government regarding. Once I am prepared, I can add an additional topic of discussion?

You can do whatever you want, but don't expect honesty. They want us here to use us. When people are missing, they aren't going to tell us if it's their fault.

Well this sure is an interesting tactic to rally the remaining troops, I must say.

I don't need to rally anyone. If people care they'll be doing something, if not, I'd rather they stay out of the way.

They simply vanished, all at once. No panic. No anger. No struggle.

Whatever happened, it is well outside the capabilities of anyone here.

So the government didn't cause it. Good. But that doesn't mean they don't know what did. Not that they seem to be saying anything.

While there is certainly the possibility they might have some idea, I'm not overly optimistic. The technological progress- or lack of it- does not lead me to believe we're dealing with a particularly bright civilization.

If there were any one probable cause, I would wager it has something to do with the calamity we narrowly averted some months ago. And the beings responsible.

So you think those crazy sisters did all this? Wasn't the point of that to get them to go away?

Not directly, no. I imagine if they wanted to meddle further in our affairs, it wouldn't be just some of us going missing.

But I recall warnings about potential dimensional instability being a consequence of the method chosen for being rid of them. However, this is just a hypothesis- and one I have no means to test, at that.

So people disappearing more than they did before...could be the new normal.

[That's not what Lonnie wants to hear. She doesn't want to think about the fact that Catra may have just disappeared on her and now she's all alone--more alone than she'd already been.]

But if people can leave, then a bunch more people could show up at any time too and we have seen that. It might not have anything to do with that. [She needs to believe that.]

Not this government. It's something back home. Criminals, traitors and deserters get sent to Beast Island.

I think the best we can do is try to figure it out. There's no sign of them all disappearing either. Usually from what I've been told it's more of a few people. The fact so many are gone is very strange.

I don't really have a power that could help us in this case.

Traitors get a harsh punishment, how surprising. [It's meant to terrify people into not betraying the Horde, and you know, usually it works.]

Besides, that's not what matters. We're trying to find out where all the missing people went. If that means I need to start breaking tech until someone pays attention, maybe I will.

See, breaking usually means smashing things where I come from. Thought you were going to break everything until someone had the answer you were looking for. So it's more like hacking into things then?

I'm not gonna pretend I care about most of the people who went missing just to make you trust me. I know who I'm looking for.

[Yeah Lonnie knows exactly what that cafe is. Her eyes widen for just a moment before her jaw tenses a bit. Then she's back to looking like she doesn't care at all.]
