Mingjue, you judged me too harshly. I only wanted to be accepted by you; I wanted you to trust me. I served you so well, didn't I? Why do you look angry?

[His tone trembles and there is the sound of sheets and blankets shifting.]

Everyone will be able to see you this way! It's not so bad. You're as handsome as ever!

[There is a small cry as if he has been struck. In reality, he has hit himself.]

We'll be together... Don't fuss. You're only haunting me.

[Then, in a softer tone, as Meng Yao moves to his art easel, lifting a brush gracefully.]

Zewu-Jun, Lady Yanli... May I offer my condolences? I have noticed...an absence. If I am mistaken, please correct me.

[Is he watching their house? Noooope. He would never.]

For everyone else, would you suggest purchasing a home in the city or outside of the city's limits?

[ The first thing you'll notice about the video broadcast is the loud, shrill sounds of a fire alarm going off. The next thing you'll notice is the smoke filled kitchen where the video is being filmed. The third thing you'll notice is a harried looking young man with long black hair and pristine pale yellow robes, holding the camera uncertainly, as though he doesn't fully trust it. Keen eyed viewers will pick up on the crown of blue feathers poking out of the top of the man's head. They don't seem to be bothering him, but maybe he just hasn't noticed they're there... ]

I was told this tool could be used to communicate messages. I am in need of assistance.

[ He glances back over his shoulder, where there is a microwave that is clearly on fire. ]

I only tried to prepare some soup. The small heating box must be possessed by an evil spirit. It's wailing pains my ears and I cannot get it to stop. I cannot tame it alone. Please respond with all haste.

[ And then he just... puts the comm down, face up on the kitchen table, so that it is left recording the ceiling for a minute or so before the feed shuts off. ]

[A younger - though not by much - Meng Yao is taking a look at the network, his dark eyes bright with curiosity. He gives anyone watching a dazzling smile and a small, respectful bow.]

Greetings, friends! This technology is amazing, isn't it? That is...if I am using it correctly?

[He can't help laughing as a small ferret climbs up the back of his robe and settles on his shoulder.]

Now, now, you need to behave. Are you hungry? [Leaning his head to the side, he nuzzles the small creature and, adorably, the ferret closes their eyes as if enjoying the contact.]

My name is Meng Yao. Does anyone recognize me?

[ Have a somewhat subdued Wei Wuxian, doing his best to muster up a smile for people. There may or may not be a white rabbit or three hopping around him just in view of the screen. ]

For anyone who knew him, Hux has gone home. [ To die, he doesn't add. ]

He said good-bye. [ No he didn't, Hux was an asshole to most people. ]

I only knew him a few months, but if you need some company, or just to talk, just let me know.

[ One more grimace of a smile and he ends the feed for now. ]

(( It's uncomfortable using this unfamiliar technology to address who knows who. There is nothing like it in Song Lan's world. Even his housing feels utterly alien, from the false light to the very style of the furnishings. But worst of all? These tiny bags full dregs that this world seems to pass off as tea. ))

(( The words are crisp and clear, enunciated with precision and care by a low, painfully polite voice. The face on the screen is distant, with dark eyes, long, neat hair, and severe features, but quizically holding up a bag of tea. ))

Can anyone tell me where to find actual tea?

[The screen is moving as it turns on. At first it is facing the ground and then it turns and the scenery blurs as it moves. Finally there is a face but its upside down. After a brief pause the screen flips as the user seems to figure out how it works and his face fills the screen the correct way.]

I was told I could use it to speak to others. So if you are out there I request information.

[Xue Yang sits on what appears to be a low wall. In the background there is obvious rows of tombstones but despite this odd location to be broadcasting from a toothy smile is on his face. He has found himself in a world that is full of things he isn't sure how to even begin to understand so he found the one place he does. A cemetery.]

Tell me...When you first arrived in this place, what was the first thing you did?

[Part of this is to figure out what interesting activities are out there and the other part is to investigate the people who might respond to him on here. Normally he would be wandering around, making mischief but even he is smart enough to know doing so in a weird world might not be wise. Better to get his bearings first.]

This place has a lot of things I've never seen before and I intend to investigate all of it thoroughly, but I'm curious if there is something I should see first. So..enlighten me.

This may seem like a strange question, but is there anyone out there with strong spiritual abilities that would know how to cycle the energy through someone else? Or an expert in demonic poisons. Either would be nice. Thank you. Also, they are unrelated to each other and mostly out of curiosity. No hurry.

[An array of (albeit much brighter and newer) Chinese paintings are being displayed at a museum in De Chima. Meng Yao stands out in robes of blue and silver, looking like he stepped out of one of his creations. And they are his. When he focuses on anything, he doesn't do a poor job.]

My paintings have caused a stir. [He too has gained interest, it seems, based on the small crowd gathering around him.] If you would like to purchase one, they will be available for a short time. I am also open for commissions.

[Why simply work in an art museum when you can be part of the exhibitions?]

It seems Team Skull's boss Guzma has been pretty popular on social media recently, since this is the second month in a row he's been trending! but it's not with his controversial Juliet—instead, it seems that the bad boy has swapped teams and has gone for his own Romeo. Who might this Romeo be? None other than Aegis's own Darin Altway. Images of the two having what appears to be a heartfelt embrace started flooding Bwitter with the trending tag #SkullForge, and with it a deluge of mixed opinions.

The rumor mill has been churning with speculation over the well-known rivalry between the two, and if the fires of adversity have since turned into a mutual flame of passion. Others have expressed dismay, while some have wondered what this means for Lucina, mourning for the princess with the hashtag #2good4him; where they have shared similar stories and experiences of being left heartbroken in the face of their lovers "swapping teams". There's no confirmation on whether this is the end of the Princess' relationship with the gang boss, but only time will tell. Whatever the case may be, it seems that the self proclaimed "hated boss" of Team Skull has a knack for blue-haired heroes, and perhaps they in kind have a thing for bad boys!

When he speaks it is soft and gentle. He made sure to keep his speech in line with the image that he was trying to convey.]

It has come to this masters attention that... adjusting to this world is not easy for all.

[Of course, it had been pretty easy for him, but it wasn't all that different from what he was familiar with. Of course, because of his own foolishness, he couldn't admit to that now!]

[ This has been a question from someone way too lost in thought. And definitely thinking about the fact that she's coming up on four years of being here, with only a few slight interruptions, but returning every time with her memories of this world. ]

This is going to sound stupid, but I wanted to...apologize, I guess, for that Ansem guy who brought all the Heartless here this month. He's from my worlds and fighting them used to be my job. I didn't do a good enough job this time.

[Actually he did fine but it was two Keyblades against a self-growing army of Heartless. Still, he didn't like seeing people in danger.]

Anyway, I know some people got hurt and couldn't....feel things anymore after the Heartless got to them. If that was any of you, you should be fine now — for good — but if you want to, um, talk about it or anything, I can explain things. Cuz I've been through it too.

[Okay he looks willing but a little mortified too so he's going to stop there.]

I am going to preface this announcement by stating that no matter its potential reward, I do not appreciate losing three days to the whims of the Porter or whatever being controls it.

[Which is all he'll be saying on that front since it's not as if anyone can actually stop the port-outs. Instead of dawdling, he holds one hand up in front of the camera to display a small pyramid-shaped device ] levitating above his palm. Black and bronze, and faintly glowing at its core.]

I require volunteers. For those of you not familiar, this device is a holocron. Specifically, a Sith holocron- the Jedi have their own, but the principle is the same for both. Traditionally they are meant to store knowledge and teachings of the Sith for future reference, but my own limited experimentation has shown the ones I can create here have further potential.

[And possibly dangerous potential, but he plans on closely supervising and restricting usage to avoid that possibility.]

My intent is to use these holocrons to record any strange events or phenomena that occurs- or has already occurred- and any potential triggers or warnings preceding them. In theory, this will make it somewhat easier to respond to any such incidents in the future. Or at least know when to expect one, so that we might be better prepared to deal with it.

You need not be from my own galaxy to assist. Ideally, I would prefer to experiment on as wide a variety of beings as possible to test for compatibility. Force-sensitives, telepaths, magic users, even none of the above. I also plan to seek assistance from some of the locals in order to determine whether non-imPorts can make use of them.
