[ there is no video; only audio: the sounds of what seems to be fiddling in the background, hands moving uncertainly around as he tries to get comfortable where he is and with this technology. sure, he has spent the last few weeks learning. slow, patient, meticulous. but weeks to learn an entirely different world is not much.

For those who come from different worlds or times, how did you adapt?

This one has been reading books and exploring the places that exist for education. Museums. Art installations. Historical Monuments. She is considering taking classes at the 'college' once she has learned the process for being allowed to do so.

She has also found another from her own world at a very different time who arrived here many months ago and has already struggled and floundered his way into understanding. He has been most gracious in attempting to help Khajiit learn. There may be others as well. She has only been here a week, seven days, and could not say who is best to speak to.

Do you find yourself freezing when facing all these different things? I — I do not have use of all my senses, so my learning tools are slightly limited. Forgive me, I should have mentioned that.

What senses does the person speaking have use of? That will make suggestions easier.

Then this one would suggest he attempt to spend some time sitting in a very loud place and learning the different sounds. Then in a place with many smells where he can try to pick out different ones. With someone who can give him names when he describes a specific one or name them when they occur.

Touch will be more difficult, she expects. As this world has many objects that are the same but made from materials so vastly different even being shaped similar does not help identify them as one and the same sometimes.

A loud place? Oh, that is a really useful idea. I just have to find someone familiar with this place who wouldn't be inconvenience by spending some time with me.

The texture will help me identify different materials, but that will take much longer. I feel as focusing on the first idea is the best for now.

Yes! A busy city center where there are many natives walking and going about their business making the usual noises of their day! Someone familiar with such and willing to spend several hours throughout the day would be very good to have on hand.

Is this something you also intend to practice? Listening to the sounds around you?

Possibly. Khajiit is spending most of her time reading first. As there is much to read. Less so for those without the ability to see, of course, but there is some for them as well if they know the tongue-heard-with-fingers that this world has created. Very ingenious, that.

Tongue-heard-with-fingers? Is that some sort of skill that can be learned? Magic?

No. It is a language that is read with the fingers. Bumps raised in specific patterns to form the basic letter that make up words. They call it 'brail'. But tongue-heard-with-fingers describes it better, yes?

I would very much enjoy learning that. Ah, well, yes. Tongue-heard-with-fingers sounds more accurate.

If the human has a guide from this world to help him, it should not be difficult to arrange for classes, yes?
