Hello. I'm Rei Ryugazaki. I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice as to what to do if my powers are ruining my clothes.

[Now he looks a smidge embarrassed. He adjusts his glasses.] I've run through two pairs of running shoes already and they aren't cheap. [Especially since he likes nice running shoes. He can't have sub-par performance due to sub-par equipment!

And don't even get him started on what the friction from his super speed did to his pants.]

I know the obvious answer is to stop running, but it happens even when I'm not trying. I was wondering if there were any retailers or clothing brands in general that specialized in this sort of thing? [He's not overly hopeful but it's worth a shot!]

Also, if anyone has wings you can make... appear. [How else do you put it?] What do you do if they appear while you're wearing clothes? So far it's just been intensely uncomfortable but I can't just go around shirtless. [In public.] And I don't want to cut slits in all my clothing either.

What's causing your shoes to get ruined when you're running? Do you generate a lot of heat or friction?

Yes. I have super speed. They hold up well enough at first, but eventually I just wear the soles too thin.

I suppose my only advice is to learn how to use your abilities better so that neither of those things happen out of your control.

Good afternoon, Rei Ryugazaki. I am Ira Gamagori, bootcamp instructor to Cape Canaveral. I am sorry to hear you did not arrive in attire that changed with you when you used your powers but do not fret! There are many here who can fashion you such an outfit. You're better off speaking to imPorts specifically about this. I would also suggest the government advisers we are allowed to send our inquiries to. I haven't spoken to them on this subject, but if you are Registered it is likely they'd want you to have a uniform that makes combat with your abilities possible.

Contact anyone at the Xavier's school for the wing problem, and possibly the other one. The people behind that school are experienced with these problems, and they should be able to help you out, even if you aren't choosing to attend yourself.

[ You might have to handle his tacky designs if you don't request your own though! Armstrong's currently wearing an argyle turtleneck abomination that even Bill Cosby would think twice about. ]
