[ Hey gang, look who's alive and well and not crispy. Dorian's in his room, sitting up against his bed, looking at the camera. He...has very mixed feelings about all of this. Because he died, and they stayed dead and then got revived and none of this should work like that. So normally, he would be making some sort of grandiose "yes, I AM the Dorian Gray, I'm a sinnerrrrrr" blah blah blah kind of post.
But he died. And he really shouldn't have died. And he really shouldn't have died like that. And he shouldn't have come back to life, to proper life, so easily and with seemingly no repercussions. So have an oddly introspective Dorian, nodding at the camera ]
So, as you can see, I'm, um, alive. [ no shit. ] And I feel like I need to explain things.
[ Why did Lunatic target him for starters. Lunatic killed sinners, Lunatic killed Dorian, therefore Dorian was a sinner. Deduction at it's finest. And he KNOWS that he's just gonna have some Jojos up his ass about Dio (thanks buddy) and possibly some astute people have put together the fact that he is that Dorian Gray, and if not then he'll probably have to confess with regards to the sinners bit and this is way too much talking about the parts of himself that he doesn't want to talk about for Dorian's comfort level. ]
Ask away. If you've got a question about me or about what happened, I'll do my best to answer it. [ pause, and then ] Also, if you know someone who can get scorch marks out of carpets or wood, then please tell me their number. This is unsightly. [ and a reminder that guess what! You died! which Dorian doesn't really want. ]

Wait, careful?! Unless you're saying that one of my close friends is Lunatic, which I highly doubt, why is this suddenly my fault? I didn't know that someone would tell.
PRIVATE; video
I am not blaming anyone, Dorian, there isn't any need to be defensive. I simply meant...if he was able to enter your home once, perhaps take measures to see to it that he is unable to do so again?
My apologies if that offends you, but I truly don't wish to see you hurt.

[No reason to hide it, not really. Enough people know here, and right now it would be more suspicious not to share what he knows about a vigilante from his world. Even if that vigilante happens to be himself.]
Well, you should be safe enough. It appears as though you're fairly popular and enough people have taken slight at what happened. They'll likely keep vigil in your stead.
[ooc: did you wanna action spam 'tomorrow morning'?]

He is, yes. A criminal who has eluded capture and on several occasions even threatened the lives of the Heroes themselves.
[Blah, blah, blah...they had it coming. But at least he looks properly upset, as though Lunatic's freedom is really such an inconvenience.]
I'd thought that was public knowledge. [Pause.] If you have other questions about him, Dorian...I'd be willing to answer them to the best of my ability. Now more than ever I wish to see him caught.
[ooc: awesome, I'll set it up here once they finish yammering at each other!]
PRIVATE; video
Apparently it's not as public as you thought. [ a pause, and then, ] Do you mind telling me a bit more about what he did in your world?
PRIVATE; video
Lunatic's behavior doesn't appear to have changed much. In our world he also followed his own so-called code of justice, targeting those who've murdered for whatever reason. It was not beyond his capability to attack even incarcerated criminals.
[He sighs.]
I suppose it's ironic that the safest place for such people here is in prison. As far as I am aware, it is the only place where his powers are nullified.
[He studies Dorian a moment before he adds...]
It is possible he won't attack you again, however. The crimes you've committed here don't coincide with his motives, and presently, he hasn't indicated that he has any interest in continually punishing individuals for the same offense if they revive. In fact, I would say that goes against what he claims to stand for.
[Meaning you can probably commit all the petty crimes you want and Lunatic won't lift a finger, not unless you take another life, Dorian.]

[Of course, that could be giving Dorian too much credit.]
Well... [He picks up his communicator from where it was resting.] You have a sort of date with Ms. Bishop, don't you?
[He's not going to pretend to sound pleased about it, but at least he doesn't sound like he's sulking, either. Kate, when he spoke to her, seemed like a nice enough, respectable and intelligent young woman. There's nothing about her to dislike, not as far as he knows, at least.]
I would hate for you to keep her waiting. We'll talk more tomorrow, you and I.
PRIVATE; video
But I'll see you tomorrow, no matter what.
PRIVATE; video
[He smiles ever so faintly.]
There will be time enough for us to sort things out tomorrow. Be there for ten? And don't be late. I don't plan to stay long in town as I've other business to attend. So, if you're not there, I'll take that to mean you don't really intend to see me and I won't wait for you.

[ooc: 1/2! The next will be the action spam.]
ACTION | 12.16.2014
He greets the doorman in the lobby before taking the elevator up to his apartment, and there sets about putting a few things in order before his guest arrives: he dusts quickly, puts away the jigsaw puzzle he'd left out on his coffee table, boils water for tea, quickly showers and changes his outfit. No stuffy suit, not today. He's told Dorian he has other business to see to, but it's better to keep Dorian guessing about its nature. It's only fair, after all; it's the same game the other man plays.
The outfit he chooses is classy enough, but also bold, not at all the usual muted tones he prefers in all attire excepting his ties. Surely enough to draw Dorian's attention? And that's what Yuri wants to do today...because there's a certain way he wants this meeting to go. There's a certain way it needs to go to ensure the other man doesn't wind up doubting him and suspecting him.
And all that's left to do now is wait for him to arrive...]
ACTION | 12.16.2014
It's still winter, okay? Even if they're in Florida.
But Dorian can't lie: he's still a bit shaken up. After all, he had died. Again. And he had spent the few brief moments before his death in an utter panic that it would happen again, that he would be stuck again, he would take anything over that...but it didn't happen. He simply died. He died and his portrait respawned with him also. He had no idea what would happen if he died again and he had no idea how his portrait regenerated and it was terrifying.
So, after ringing Yuri, Dorian takes the apartment up to Yuri's apartment...and is a bit taken aback at his outfit. ] You're looking good.
[ And it's the truth. ]
ACTION | 12.16.2014
I thank you. You're looking rather smart yourself.
[And he is, all things considered, though Yuri's not blind to the slightly more subdued choice of wardrobe. Ah...but perhaps that's his fault in more ways than one? He had, after all, blindly attacked the portrait in Dorian's closet. There were bound to be a few sacrificed outfits within due to that.
A small price to pay...]
Come in.
[He contemplates for half a second before reaching for Dorian's hand, not to guide him further into his home, but to pull him closer. He knows that mouth has been busy lately, abhors the idea of going near it, but it's pretty hard to tell when he's kissing Dorian good morning like he's actually missed him.
Maybe a few days away from everything really have helped. Should have booked a vacation sooner.]
ACTION | 12.16.2014
Dorian had died. And at the moment, he just wanted comfort. He wanted to be coddled, he wanted to just be with someone. So, for the first time in ages, he was respecting Yuri's wishes and his comfort level. Eventually, after they broke away, that gentle, slightly awkward smile made its return. ]
Thank you. I...I needed that.
ACTION | 12.16.2014
I thought so, and I can't say that I blame you for that.
[He touches the other man's cheek before turning and gesturing for Dorian to take a seat in the living room.]
Anything to drink before we get to it? [Even when playing a part he still prefers getting straight down to business.] I have water boiled for tea, or if you prefer, I believe there is some wine left from Thanksgiving. It's up to you. Given the circumstances, I won't withhold from you whatever you may want or think will help you.
[Well, to a point.]
ACTION | 12.16.2014
I'd love some tea, honestly. Do you have black?
ACTION | 12.16.2014
[That Yuri is pleased with Dorian's choice is something he doesn't bother hiding. Excusing himself for a few minutes, he prepares the tea before bringing in two mugs and setting one before the other man on the coffee table.
He then takes a seat next to Dorian, his own mug cradled between his hands.]
I will be honest...I considered asking you to tell me who else you're involved with, but I've since decided that it's really not important. I don't want to know.
ACTION | 12.16.2014
[ Taking the mug from the coffee table, Dorian took a little sip, visibly relaxing as the warm tea slid down his thrat. ]
ACTION | 12.16.2014
[He sips his tea carefully, and as he lowers the cup again, watches steam rise from the surface of the dark liquid within.]
And whether you're doing what you do to keep Dio alive or to feel more alive yourself...it's your prerogative, I suppose.
The only thing I want to know is...where do you and I really stand?
[At last he looks at Dorian again, and his curiosity is an honest reflection of what he feels. He wants to know. To hear what Dorian will say.]
Is this, too, simply to pass the time?
ACTION | 12.16.2014
You're so much more than that to me. I'd gladly give up all of them if it meant I could have all of you in exchange.
ACTION | 12.16.2014
All of me? [A frown.] I'm not sure what you mean by that. Have I withheld something from you that you've wanted?
Re: ACTION | 12.16.2014
No, you haven't. It's just...well, I only recently found out that Lunatic was from your world. I've got a feeling there's a lot about you that I don't know.
[ NO FUCKING DUH. plus, there's still that nagging little feeling of 'did Yuri tell Lunatic about him???' ]
no subject
[That's the truth as far as his public face goes. Behind that, though, there is definitely a lot to tell, a lot nobody knows. No one, that is, except his mother back home, and now Yomiel. But even they only know bits and pieces of the true story.]
Is that why you like me? Because you think there's more?
[...he shakes his head, smiles, but it doesn't last.]
Sorry to disappoint you.
As for Lunatic, his place of origin is not one we've ever thought a good idea to keep secret. I have been doing my utmost along with the Heroes from my world to help with apprehending him here, sharing with people all that I know, but he remains elusive as always. Of course, this side of the Porter the public does not so openly support him, so I am grateful for that. It's been helping, I think, to wear him down more than ever before.
Perhaps we'll even see him caught soon.
