Why does no one consider that the government are lying to us? There have been some who've talked about it, yeah, but no one really seriously thinks about it. But we know they've got the ability to change memories, haven't they? They can make people forget their lives here, or at least SOMEONE can. So why do we all think they haven't just done that? There's never been a group of people in power who didn't love to see their populace docile and harmless and quiet. They've got every reason to alter our memories and our thoughts so that we're nice and obedient to them.

Why are we swallowing what they tell us? Why aren't we questioning them? Why aren't we challenging them? We've got the power to make them scared, so why aren't we? We're powerful, and we'll fight for what's right if we've got the chance, so why AREN'T we doing that? We've got to organize. We've got to make change.

in most circumstances the only time youre likely to encounter any alteration of memories is on export and possibly on an import following
never the first time and only sometimes subsequent times
its her way of preserving paradox space beyond this universe so that events are maintained as they would rather than dooming every timeline to follow

should your memories be altered during your time here its probably an imports fault
either way it isnt really a "whatever" when none of this is something that points the finger where you want it to be

there are numerous things in their approach to examine critically
but id rather focus on the truth to determine effective solutions than waste time chasing lies to fuel outrage

these are things that have proven demonstrably true
i have experienced them and others have also corroborated them
not once has this story been provided by the government because the government knows fuckall regarding the porter operation
you could in fact apply scientific method to it due to its often repeatable nature
even if that repetition isnt entirely dependable
but oh of course that means its only some constructed lie ive been fed and assume strongly enough to perpetuate
clearly im the naive one whos only falling to assumptions that feed my established outlook that i couldnt even think to consider beyond here

1. That memories have been shown to be altered. You say it's by Lachesis, but it's your own memories that are guiding you to that conclusion. If the government have this ability, they could easily have done it to you to redirect your attention.
