Do tell me, are you actually helping this world and its war? I am sure all of you are dying [ she loves to use this word when addressing to humans ] to show everyone and yourself how heroic you can be, but let's be practical, shall we? You owe this place nothing. To fight for them, without even listening to the opponent's side, seems awful narrow-minded, doesn't it? [ no surprise, humans love an excuse for war ]

Regardless, we are here and there isn't much we can do, according to the military. I'm afraid I'm not so inclined to trust them blindly though, neither willing to offer my skills to them.

I much more interested in helping fellow imPorts, as long they are not directly related to the military. Said this, I'm a scientist and my focus is bioengineering. [ sort... of ] And few other things. [ like weaponry. Using it, at least. ANYWAY. ] If anyone would be interested, I'm very willing to give you a hand.

It's a big list.

Genetic manipulation and mutation is something I'm very interested in. I've created clones, for example. I also have experience regarding weaponry, such as biochemical or technologically enhanced.

[ugh. Tempo's getting vibes of one of her other... acquaintances from Dominique. but still, she has to maintain good faith. she's been wrong before. at least she doesn't have to devote any energy to appearing on camera.]

The opponent, whoever they may be, has already voiced their opinion. They did it with explosions and death.

[Tempo watched a guard die. an innocent civilian, doing her job, caught in the wrong place at the wrong time. and she knows that the imPorts are going to be the weapons the greater war is fought with. but she can't let herself focus on that right now.]

I do not want things to escalate further. I would like there to be a wholly peaceful solution. If you have the influence to fight for that, Ms. Destine, I believe it is something you would want, too. Though if you are an advocate for peace, you are phrasing it very aggressively.

Were they not the "Hornets", a group who has already been dismantled? And besides, a war is not fought solo - I'm certain USA isn't just a victim in a big misunderstanding.

Though I do wonder where was I advocating for peace in my entry. I made it clear I have no desire to aid this war so blindly when I have just arrived, and all I have are words from side that happened to kidnap me. But I knew the military I was working for. And I knew it wouldn't be used against me.

I've actually been contemplating my own role in this new world!

With my new-found lack of programming that compels loyalty, I'm now forced to create motivations for myself! Currently I have limited such goals to what I think is an innate preference for learning, but I wonder if I might develop a compunction towards factional loyalty at some point?? If it turns out that I am capable of developing relationships and emotional attachments like a human is, it is likely that I'll form a default appreciation for the geographical area where those relationships exist, and therefore my loyalty will be towards the United States, if only because there are such dire consequences for leaving the country.

It's difficult to agree to help a war we were not part of from the beginning, and that didn't involves any way up until now.
