[he leans over the mirror to get a look at the image, but frowns almost immediately. that is...not what he was hoping for.]

...I think there was a mistake.

[he sounds incredibly apologetic, like it's totally his fault that this power he's never used before didn't work. but there is an image on the mirror so long as his stand's still holding onto it, and he knows that Ramir is curious; without prompting, he holds it up to the communicator so she can see...whatever it is you've decided she's going to see lmao.]

[ Definitely not Kotetsu, because someone fucked it up. Instead it's an older woman with iron-gray hair, past her prime but still broad and muscular. She looks regal and commanding, like the kind of person who would be listened to just because she's speaking. She has a stoney face, but Ramir remembers too well exactly how kind those eyes can be. The audio catches a slight hitch in her breathing, then nothing for a few seconds as she stares.

Then she just hangs up. That seems way better than any other option here. ]

[that was not the reaction that he was expecting at all, and in his worry he slips back into ultra formal. Jonathan can't keep his focus on his stand like this, and so both the invisible vines and the woman in the mirror disappear almost as soon as Ramir disconnects.

he's going to give her twenty minutes to collect herself from whatever it was that he just did, and if she doesn't respond here by then he's taking this to her voicemail. much as he respects people's feelings, there's no way he's just going to let this hang without resolution.]

[ She's perfectly happy to pretend this conversation never happened, actually. And if Joseph was still over at her place, that's definitely when he gets kicked out. The next 20 minutes are spent doing... something, maybe cleaning, for once, or maybe organizing things mindlessly, and firmly ignoring any urges to cry. She's still pretty happily going about this when the 20 minute marker rolls around, ignoring whatever notifications Joseph's device tell her pop up from that post. ]
