[ The play is brief, probably no more than 30 seconds at maximum. Tauriel is there on it's screen, looking as if she were speaking to her wrist- or that she'd found a way to strap her communicator on as such. Hands free was much easier.

There is a small amount of blood splatter on her face, though it doesn't appear to be from any wound of her own. She looks, for an elf, almost a little distraught. A common expression for her, these days. ]

If anyone has found any answers to this cure- I would much appreciate. I do not enjoy killing those who do not deserve it, but if things progress as they are, I cannot argue that there may be no other way.

[ And with that, the feed ends, not quite abruptly. She has things to do, people to protect, as best she can. This airborne sickness may have infected most, but that didn't mean she could keep the senseless violence at bay. ]

We tried for over a decade to find this cure back home. It's not something you figure out overnight. [ there's some edge in that of aggravation, not entirely towards tauriel, but this whole thing is driving him nuts. there's just no time, and newt is dying. ]

Right now she sees what is clearly an elf. Kagonesti, Silvensti, whichever - it's an elf. Crematia hates elves, even though she enjoyed eating them back home.

Actually there isn't a lot, but the very fact of how uncommon they are is alarming enough. To have someone spit out her species name like it's vomit, well... It isn't the best thing to happen since the day started. Still, it makes her curious. Were not all elves immune to such things? ]

It might not be something you enjoy but in my experience it's the most efficient way to make sure less people end up hurt in the end.

There are not many options in this instance. Those who are immune are offering blood samples for study, myself included. Beyond that...restraining and subduing violent individuals is the best that we are able to do.

If restraint is not successful, there...is not much of another choice.

I'm no greater fan of unnecessary violence than you. I've served in combat with countless unnecessary deaths. But in this instance, we have a responsibility to try and protect those around us at all appropriate costs.
