007 Video;
[It looks kind of like Dean's got his device propped up on some kind of table or something and he's sitting on a chair in front of it, leaning forward, arms braced on his legs. In the background there's a pale green curtain and there's the constant beeping of medical monitoring equipment.
Dean sighs, scrubbing a hand over his face. Honestly, he looks kind of like Hell, but there's a reason for that.] I need a healer. Maybe more than one. My brother - Sam's dying and I don't know if the nanites can heal him fast enough. I know a few people offered to help out when he first got here. We're at the hospital in Heropa.
[There's a pause and he looks like he's going to say something else, but he reaches out and cuts the feed instead.]

action;
Lucifer comes in with a nurse, who heads to fuss with taking Sam's blood pressure, while Lucifer matter of factly unclips his board from the end of the bed as though he belongs there, relying on Dean being preoccupied replying to offers of aid on the network to notice that the doctor is not a doctor, at least for a moment or two.
Because what's wrong with Sam--that's interesting. And Dean made a mistake admitting he was here. ]
action;
The chair clatters to the ground as Dean stands up, pushing it back and getting right up in Lucifer's face, putting himself between the Devil and Sam.] What gives you the right?
[He pushes against Lucifer and the archangel is unmoving. It's like trying to shove aside a brick wall. But Dean doesn't actually need to move him like that. He bunches a hand into the doctor's coat, glowering a at Lucifer the entire time. This is not good and there's no way he's going to let Sam wake up to this. Dean glances over his shoulder at his sleeping brother, hopes to God that the nurse is really just a nurse, and takes flight without any sort of direction or purpose other than "get away from Sam".
A few seconds later, they're in Detroit.] Well isn't this just freaking peachy. What the Hell do you want?
[Just give him a reason to banish your ass six ways from Sunday because he's just looking for an excuse to do it. And he's less than happy about where they ended up.]
action;
And then the chair is being thrown aside with force, and Dean shoved up against him, furiously angry. Hah. Like it made any difference.
But then there's wings. Lucifer has a moment of surprise when he sees them, and then they're in Detroit, and Lucifer finds himself laughing. A peel of laughter, because it's funny. Detroit is funny, and Dean with wings is funny, because was there ever anyone so unangelic in the whole world? ]
You gave your position away, and I did so want to drop in on little Sammy.
Nice wings, by the way. You didn't have those before.
action;
And I really want to punch your face in, but I guess we can't always get what we want. [Not that he wouldn't try if Lucifer so much as seemed like he was even thinking about heading back to the hospital. But with Sam in as bad of shape as he's in, Dean can't afford to get into a fight with the Devil right now. And he doesn't want to leave Sam alone for long either.]
I got an upgrade. [They're convenient, even if his tone betrays how less than thrilled with them he actually is.]
action;
But where's the fun? ]
So I see. Still, I've been flying since the moment of my creation and you--which of us do you suppose would make it back to the hospital first?
action;
[Every fiber of his being is screaming at him to get back to Sam, but there's nothing to stop this from turning into the competition that Lucifer had threatened if he did do that. No. He needed a way to put the Devil on lock down that wouldn't turn into the fight that it had last time. Dean's no good to Sam if he needs a healer, too.]
action;
So what I really want is for Sam to get well soon. I'd offer to help but, well, he's already said 'yes' to me once, and look how that turned out. And to think it'd be pie to patch up that mess.
But...Winchester's are too good for that. You'd rather he die. I respect that.
