so i just got here

and yeah i got the whole welcoming spiel so can it

i got separated from my friend somehow but hes gotta be here somewhere. if u see a kid named gon that wears all green and is way to cheerful lemme know.

oh and what happens if u just skip school? theyre telling me i have to go to school when the new semester starts. ive never went to school before though and it sounds like a waste of time.

[Something about the tight-knit government around here, how he arrived, and everything they knew about him just rubbed Killua the wrong way. Normally he wouldn't even care to ask, but he has to wonder if there's some ridiculously disproportionate punishment for playing hooky. He's been here all of a day and he already doesn't trust the place.

The last thing he remembers from home was using Accompany On with Gon. By all means they shouldn't have been separated, and yet they were, which is why he's convinced his friend has to be here somewhere. Not that anyone at the base would tell him.]

[Killua decides not to go inside, instead opting to quickly and efficiently scale the side of the building. Once he reaches the top he flips over the edge, landing in a crouch with the fingertips of one hand splayed against the concrete.]

... [He looks up and takes in his surroundings before standing.] Yo.

Action.

[debauchewy]

[Hisoka's crouched there when Killua arrives, though he stands and turns, faces him, wants to see him, thinks the boy's deserving of it as well.]

[It's been so long though... This Killua, he notices near instantly, is weaker. Just barely. His expression is a little cold, lifting his chin slightly.][A pause, staring, before gesturing up a hand as he continues.]

What do you remember last from home?

[killectric]

[After a moment of deliberation, Killua decides he sees no harm in answering that.]

We just left Greed Island and used Accompany On to find someone. [Which is why it's so strange to him that only he got abducted. They hadn't even landed!]

[debauchewy]

...To find who?

[killectric]

Nigg. [Well, he wasn't lying. He just wasn't telling Hisoka more than he asked.]

[debauchewy]

[A blink.]

Nigg?

So then you've finished the game? [Was that after that ball game? Or did they visit someone by that name before they visited him?]

[Hisoka must have left the island before the finale, if he really has no idea.]

Yeah, Gon won. [His brow twitches a little as he recalls that quiz.] He beat everyone in the game at multiple choice.

[debauchewy]

I'm aware. Did you forget I was in that game already too?

[As in, won that game for the both of you? Wait no sorry that was teamwork. He saw the quiz, and despite liking quizzes, he was busy with other things. Well, busy with a person actually.]

So after that... [As in... what happens after, a lot of things, from what he knows of what happened to Gon. Not that he has any real information about the ants. Ah, is this before Killua's met Kite even? Interesting, though slightly disappointing. The boy is definitely weaker now.]

You've not aware... the first time you arrived here, you were from later on.

You could have left! [Killua's eyes flick to look at the skyline, embarrassed. Hisoka was the one who asked! He figured that meant he didn't know!]

[It doesn't last long though, and he looks back over with a sudden turn of his head and wide eyes.

"Later on"? He already didn't like the fact he'd found evidence to support what Hisoka had said earlier, and now he's telling him when he was here before, he was from the future?] How would you know?

Quite a bit. I was growing very fond of you, Killua. Infact, I still am, though you're not as great as you were... I might be willing to help with that.

Especially since learning more quickly might benefit you even more here. [Considering Illumi's about, and how easy it will be for Illumi to keep tabs on him.]

[Okay, ignoring the fact he really doesn't want to hear about how Hisoka was growing "very fond" of him--was he offering to train him? Somehow that was even weirder than him being his usual self.]

That's easy to say; I want proof. Tell me something you couldn't know unless I told you.

[He wouldn't offer it so readily if it hadn't already become a thing before. While he'd rather stay away and see the jumps in Killua's power and experience, here? There aren't enough people that know Nen here though. He doubts Killua would find a teacher, and while he thinks highly of the boy, purely training your own Nen can be extremely difficult and he'd be very disappointed should Killua do it incorrectly and squander his talent...]

[Illumi would be the only person with Nen he can think of that would end up teaching the boy but... considering Killua's aversion to him he doubts that will happen, or happen much anyway.]

Hmm, that's difficult, we just saw eachother.

[Pause. Lifts a finger.] Your favorite candy is chocorobos.

[killectric]

Ah-- [That was easy.] It's chocorobo-kun.

[He's just embarrassed Hisoka knew.] And I bought it at Heaven's Arena, so you could have found out then!

[debauchewy]

[A chuckle. Aww, is Chocorobo a gentleman? How cute.]

Well I know of Alluka. [Hands up.]

And of how your family keeps her, like some dangerous tool, hm? One that... [His eyelids go low.] Only you can control.

[Oh, right.

Killua's expression turns steely. Those are definitely things Hisoka couldn't know unless he'd been told. It doesn't really prove if he met him from "later on" or not, but it backs up everything else--and if the rest is true, then that isn't much of a stretch either.]

I don't control her. [Icy, he clenches his fists.] I'm just the only one who understands her.

[But he's not here to talk about Alluka. Least of all to Hisoka. So Killua unclenches his fists and tries to get himself back on track.] I guess that proves it.

[debauchewy]

[Just a smile at that, closing his eyes. Don't you? Well from your family's mindset, you DO control here, and that's all that matters to them.]

Yes.

[It proves it. No shit.]

But she left a little before you did I believe. Before the both of you, you- and Gon. [A small intake of his breath at that name.]

[He wonders if Gon and Alluka will show up here again, now that he's back... Right now, Alluka's probably home again. Locked away, and he just left her there.]

He'll be back. Gon's way too stubborn to let me have all the fun by myself. [He says, just as stubborn. They'd hardly been separated at all the past year, and even when they were--they always came back together.]

[debauchewy]

Oh I hope so. It'd be so much more fun with him here.

[He agrees he agrees. Well in a way. Gon and Killua certainly have no choice to be here or not, none of the do.]

What will you do if he doesn't? Surely you'll busy your time in some way? [He'll chuckle, giving a bright smile.]

You can get hoverboards here! [You like skateboards, right? Now they can fly!]

I guess I'll just have to wait and see. [What will he do if Gon doesn't show up? He doesn't want to think about that. Starting from over again when he'd finally gotten away from home, finally gotten friends--when he finally had someone like Gon to spend time with.

He didn't even get to say goodbye. It wasn't fair. It left him feeling empty, and even more resentful towards the ones who'd brought him here.]

They have hoverboards around here? [He seems a little distracted--and not nearly as enthusiastic as he should be about something as cool as hoverboards.] Where?

[debauchewy]

So you will, as I have. But waiting can be so lonely, so let's keep eachother company, okay? Killua? [Giving a small smile, speaking to him almost softly but in that smooth and creepy way the boy will be quite familiar with. Still, you certainly could use a friend you know knows that they're doing and capable of, right?]

A few places. [He'll stand now, moving to step over to the edge of the building.]

Finding a good way to get around in this world will benefit you. Traveling comes up often.

[Killua glances back at Hisoka at that, but he doesn't answer. He still wouldn't say he could trust him, even if sometimes they're on the same side.]

It's not like I have anywhere to be. [He folds his arms behind his head, relaxing a little. This was only his first day here, he had time to figure this out.] School's over in a few days anyway. Then I have this whole boring summer to look forward to.

And all the places to visit. I suppose you won't be doing anything productive?

[It doesn't really seem like it'll be any fun without Gon around...even if it was plenty of fun before he met him.]

If you mean fighting for justice or whatever it is they want us to do--not really.

[He smiles, looking down off the building.]

So was that all then? [Or was there more he'd like to talk about?]
