003. Text, clearly.

Hello everyone! This is Chrollo, although I expect you could tell from the ID field.

As per a request by Ira Gamagori, imPort Ambassador to Nonah, I'm planning to start a database keeping track of the various abilities here and who has them. The point is to make it easier for people in a bad situation to look up and contact whomever might be able to help them. So, for example, if you come across an injured civilian, it would be easy to look up healers who might be in the area and contact them. Or if, say, you come across a fallen wire, maybe there happens to be someone in the area who's immune to electricity and can move it to a safer position.

We also thought it'd be helpful for the recently completed training facility, and so (as mentioned by the Ambassador) I've volunteered to assist by matching potential students with the trainer of their dreams! Or as close as I can manage, anyway, depending on who signs up.

That said, this is strictly voluntary. Neither I nor the ambassador is looking to make anyone uncomfortable or make them feel watched, especially with the new regulations that have been announced of late. So feel free to flip by if you're not interested.

If, however, you are interested, either in having your abilities recorded or as someone who might reference the database, I'm wondering what you'd find most useful to include. Ability, name (or codename) and location seem obvious, but is there anything else I'm missing? I'm trying to be thorough, I guess, without being invasive, so please share your thoughts if you have any.

When I'm ready to roll forward with this, I'll be setting up a text-based inbox on my communicator for forms, suggestions, requests and training inquiries. But in the meantime, if you have any suggestions, questions or comments now, I'm more than happy to hear them and talk to you about them.

Feel free to use video or voice if you prefer! I'm making use of text for easy reference reasons only.

Perhaps you are right and the tendency is uncommon, but the way that I see things...the world is not black and white, and neither are people. That is why, in spite of my doubts, I am choosing to take this course of action.

[She must be firm, but not so rigid that when the wind gusts she breaks instead of bows. A king must never break...and a knight knows when to bow.

...ah!

But he's looking at her more intently now, and with recognition. Saber loses a little of her intensity when Chrollo claims that speaking with her is an honor. She holds up her hands, lets them fall again, and then shakes her head slowly from side to side.]

My name is accurate. And I see you're very well informed, but I would expect no less from someone pursuing your goals. But...

[A breath. Slow. Focused. In and out.]

...no matter. I should say, I am not at all as familiar with your name as you are mine, Mr. Lucilfer, but it is no less a pleasure to make your acquaintance.

Of late, a lot appears to have happened.

[Epidemics of other sorts, Saber means, those that were introduced by fellow imPorts. For that reason, she is not surprised that cynicism abounds, but remembers...Chrollo's proposal has as much potential to be promising as it does dangerous. Many great things could come of it.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained—so they say...]

Hm? [A pause as she regards him and considers this "book of legends" and takes it to mean he's been familiarizing himself with others, too. Or perhaps familiarizing is too deliberate a word? ...either way, he's bringing himself up to speed. Ambitious...so very ambitious.] You keep yourself very busy, it would seem.

As for the other...

[Disappointment or surprise with her appearance is common. Saber is accustomed to it. And yet...exhausted by it simultaneously.]

...the legends tell the stories accurately for the most part, but there are many details that change throughout the years with each telling. In short, interpretations are as varied as the readers of old legends themselves.

I feel the same way. [That's why she has chosen the path that she has. It would be unforgivable to do nothing, and this way...she is helping everyone.] About keeping busy and helping people, I mean...but about reading, too. It's important to exercise the mind. I'm pleased to meet someone else who recognizes the value in that.

Anyway, that is precisely my point. The only way that such a thing would be possible would be if someone from such an old era had remained present throughout the years. And then there would be much more to tell. Quite possibly more than you could read.

[Is that a smile? ...no, no it's not. But she does appear to be relaxing a bit more.]

But to answer the question you asked originally, about what else your form might benefit from including...what about age and experience? And maybe skills they have aside from their special ability, or whether they happen to be affiliated with anybody notable or with notable organizations, such as the Nonah Ambassador's training facility.

Perhaps some other time. To be quite honest, I'm not certain there is much point to sharing stories that are not already included in my legend.

[That her legend lives at all, that's all that matters.]

But I'm glad that my suggestions are acceptable, though I understand why others might continue to be wary. It is quite easy to volunteer too much without meaning to...

...so, when will you have the forms ready?
