III: [Video] - [Open Action?] probably sometime around 2-3am
[The view of the sky is glorious, even with the hum of traffic and bleed of city lights. Pitch's voice is gentle, almost nostalgic as he speaks above the rush of waves on the beach.]
There was a time, not long ago in the grand scheme of things, when the reddening of the moon was portent to calamity. The moon has, after all, long since been the only light to fill the night where humanity hasn't burned it off with electricity and flame.
[The view shifts, slowly, bringing the reddening moon in to view.]
It was thought that demons or witches were devouring it's light, turning that perfect silver to blood, stones were thrown in the night with the hopes to scare the monsters away. They didn't want their shining worlds to tarnish...
Will Constantinople's fall repeat itself here, following this one? Will Athens again be defeated in battle despite it's wisdom and military might?
[He sighs softly.]
Either way it is, perhaps, one of the few times I truly enjoy gazing upon the full moon anymore. If any wish to join me for the event... I will not stop you.
[[OOC: If this isn't a thing happening in-game I'm fine deleting this! Otherwise... impromptu eclipse watching party on the beach? ]]

But he won't go into that. ]
Though I guess if the dust is from a fire or a volcano nearby, that could be a problem.

You people and your science ruining everything as usual.
video;
How does science ruin everything? It makes the world more understandable. Heck, we wouldn't even be talking right now without science!

Wally frowns and tries replaying those words in his head. This is one of those magic things, isn't it? ]
Okay, so you're saying you're a figment of my imagination? [ Point.
Wally's head.
He grinned nervously. ]
Maybe it's a sign I should get some sleep, huh?

action (whatever i do what i want)
It's rather dour, isn't it? Looking like some bloody nightmare.
action (as well you should)
[Pitch is quite literally lounging in a curve of floating black sand, contentedly staring up at the sky.]
action (don't encourage me this much!!!)
[ He looks up at it, still wearing sunglasses, although they are red for the occasion. ]
That would certainly make it a bit more personal. What ever did the moon do to you, though? [ It's a ball of dead rock... ]
action (PFFFFFFT It's what I do.)
[He sighs, the curve of sand widening with a faint gesture for Shade to join him for a seat.]
He chose to give power to only those who would tie themselves to children's belief, and those with power decided who and what deserved to exist.
Needless to say I have been under attack ever since declining the invitation.
action
[ The offer is...well, certainly surprising, for Shade, but after only a half-second of surprise behind red glasses, he shifts, a plume of jet smoke that floats and drifts and disappears in the breeze, before the same shreds of dark fabric start to peel away, leaving Shade at the offered seat. ]
And yet, it often seems, that they come to the other sort for help, when all else fails. Hypocritical.

People were a great deal more superstitious back then, they believed in things such as cosmic signs and portents.
Such events were revelries for darker spirits as well, so I apologize for enjoying something that used to mean something to those I had any regard for.
