[When the feed comes on in the afternoon, it shows Violet glaring at her camera phone. The past few days have been nothing short of irritating. Her stance on ghosts has been to ignore them but with the number of murdered growing, it's been getting harder and harder to. (That and they seem to have discovered she can see them)]

All right, asshole! I don't care what kind of underworld angel you are. Just quit killing people! I'm sick of seeing dead ghosts wandering around with blood on their faces and their guts hanging out.

[She brushes her hair from her face in agitation]

If you've somehow been living under a rock, Lucifer's been going around killing people. Publicly. Google it. What I want to know is why he hasn't been caught yet.

[He nods his head, then says, awkwardly:]

And...inform me if there is anything else you can think of that will help ensure your safety. [A slight hesitation, then:] Including if you would...like for me to not live with you any longer.

Staying with you is hardly dangerous. Besides, I'm the one who'll probably move out first.

Because he...will come after me again. Of that, I'm almost certain. And that might be directly, which is danger enough; you might get caught in the crossfire. Or it might be...indirectly.

I'm not afraid. If that's how we catch him, that's fine with me.

That wouldn't be how we would catch him. It's just how he would harm me. Through you.

If you know he's coming, why can't the police send someone to protect you?

I...don't know that he is. That's why I keep the panic button. In case he does.

[He shakes his head again. Again, he insists, stubborn:]

We've many competent police officers working on the case. You're correct; he will be.

News flash. I stay up this late all the time.

...You have things you'd much sooner be doing than hanging around for hours merely to walk me home.
