[If you've seen Sam's previous communicator message, then you might recognize the room in the recording. The walls are still sparse and the entire room feels empty, in a way that might seem pathetic to anyone else but Sam who has never understood the point of decorating a home, much less ever had one. What is different, however, are the books and texts of all different sizes and quality scattered around - at the foot of his bed, on desk, even his chair. Most of their spines are cracked and their covers weathered, and if you look closely enough, you'll notice that most of the titles aren't in English. Some might be in a recognizable language, and others might only be squiggles and markings to the eyes of most.

Obviously, Sam has taken to his new job as a Religion Professor's assistant quite vigorously. It's a topic that will probably show up in future recordings, but he leaves the subject untouched today. The towering man sits at his desk, hunched over somewhat, but with a firm expression on his face.]

Most of you probably heard of Gabriel and Lucifer. [Here's this gem if you don't remember.] Since I'm from their universe, I felt like I had a responsibility to clarify some things and hopefully help. For those who weren't sure - yeah, they're angels. [He makes a bit of a face.] Not the fluffy kind, either. They're archangels. In my world, they're pretty much invincible and unkillable. [Well - two out of four ain't bad. But Sam isn't about to bring that up, considering he hasn't uncovered a single angel's blade or holy weapon in this world.] I don't know the extent of their powers here, but frankly, I don't recommend testing them. It's probably best just to avoid them, to be honest, until we can figure out how strong they are.

And then... [Sam swallows, something that might be guilt in his eyes.] Well, for those who don't know, Lucifer has been killing a lot of people recently. [It's hard to notice the Devil murdering people, but in case you didn't. He shifts in his chair, opens his mouth to say something, then - seems to rethink himself. He purses his lips, shoulders stiffening, voice tight.] Listen. Don't go after this guy. Just - don't. It won't end well for you.

[He's quiet. Then - ] But if you want to discuss him further, please lock your response on your communicator.

On a somewhat related topic does the name Cairax Murrain mean anything to you? Just asking cause it sounds like you have some knowledge about all this magic and demons stuff.

[He pauses and then adds as a way of explanation.] It's not really in my expertise except for a few fights with the Cairax I just mentioned. So, I guess I'm just trying to establish a basis for comparison.

That's what I'm trying to figure out. Even though there are a lot more heroes in this world then there were in mine, there's a whole new slew of factors to keep in mind. I just want to get them sorted before anyone jumps in headfirst.

Frankly, I made the broadcast so people don't try to go after him one at a time. Even if people here are just as powerful as he is, there's just going to be a showdown with innocents getting caught in the crossfire. [Sam has seen a lot of that when it comes to Lucifer. It's not a pleasant sight.]

Sorry, I don't. There are demons in my world, but none with that name that I know of. Magic is...kind of in it's own category. Lucifer doesn't use magic, he mostly uses brute force and lots of mind games. [Which is why he imagines the cops haven't caught him yet.]

Well with the hero types you have to realize that a lot of us are used to just jumping in. Granted, most of the time we don't have a choice and honestly I don't think we have much of a choice here either. This guy is taking out a lot of innocent people and if we don't move in soon something worse could happen.

[George doesn't like to see murders like this go unpunished. He'll take some time to talk to Sam, but if Sam asks to wait too long then George is just going to see what he can do on his own.]

So one on one is a bad idea, as are any showdowns in big public spaces. Sadly, I'm not sure we're going to be able to drag him to some lone field or an abandoned warehouse district to take him on. It does sound like a team effort might be a better alternative and I can attest to the fact that with powerhouses like what this guy sounds like, the more you have to throw at them the better. '

[This is bringing back way too many memories about his dealings with Cairax. He looks uncomfortable with this, probably because that was the closest he'd come to dying.]

Granted the last time I tried something like this we needed a guy that could turn into a miniature sun and a special sword.

Just asking. It might not have helped anyway since I didn't understand a whole lot about Cairax in the first place. Long story short he was some kind of major demon that I fought a handful of times and recently we managed to take him down for good. Or at least his physical form. Magic only came into play because the guy that became Cairax used some kind of magic amulet to trap him and then take on his form. It was pretty messed up.

When he hears the door open, Sam's spine instantly stiffens and he sits up. He relaxes marginally when he sees that it's Cas. He clears his throat a bit, turning towards him in his chair.] Yeah. Yeah, of course, Cas. [He motions for him to sit on the bed, which hasn't been slept in for at least a few days, after several late nights of trying to find a way to stop Lucifer.]
