I was window shopping today and I found...this.

[She turns the camera to show a soft giant robot, like a plushy version of those robots Hiro and Tadashi make. What she really wants to know is if Hiro and Tadashi know about them. Whether they're getting a commission.]

They say it's a bed.

I don't know if I'd want to sleep on it.

Right. Well, I can see how that would be really hard, though. Even trying to manipulate something like concrete, or something else that's a blend. You can't just say "it's a rock", right? You have to identify all of it.

No, you need to figure the base materials making up whatever you're working with, specifically. It's a little more complicated than saying 'it's a rock'. What that rock is made up of could potentially vary depending on location, even if most are similar enough in composition. It's basically all simple chemistry when you get right down to it.

Well, yeah, but figuring out what the thing is must be tough, isn't it?

Depends on what I'm working with. Most of the time things are pretty straightforward. It's some of the newer materials and stuff here that occasionally throw me off. But I'm getting there.

Yeah. I guess you just kinda have to keep working at it, huh? Though you seem like you must be good at it already.

I am. Mostly tend to work with metals, but most anything I can figure if you give me time to analyse the materials.

I guess so. I'd probably want to ask if this sort of thing might be based off of others though. Something to consider.

Probably, yeah. Probably you could find someone who'd want to model, though.

Might think about it, ask who might be interested in possibly helping out with some ideas. Materials and that shouldn't be too hard. It'd be examples of stuff from their homes I'd need reference for.
