With the understanding that this is a network of some type, I'm looking to get into contact with a Mr. Qubit. He assisted myself and my colleague on arrival, and circumstances at the time weren't conducive to exchanging contact information.
In addition, if there's any available information on technical or research institutions located around the occupied cities, any direction would be appreciated.
Finally, if any other members of the PPDC exist here, I'd request them to get in contact immediately.
Thank you.

chalk is gross
no subject
I wouldn't call it gross. It's kind of invasive when you're trying to conduct dissections across the room, and unreasonable when you have a lot of tech, but it's really just limestone.
no subject
also super backwards. cant you just use a holographic display or something, thats what i do
no subject
He could. He has a holo-projector in the lab and has a computer--albeit a bit out of date on that-- I think it's about holding the chalk or something. Helps with the thought process.
Not that that makes it any cooler that he's completely backwards and planning giant robot code and stuff with a chalkboard, but that's him.

least gross thing? giant robot code???? dude do NOT just skip over that, i need deets

I guess I can give you a few details. So long as I don't tell you anything really "CLASSIFIED." Because, you know, we're into that kind of stuff too.
Okay, so I know this world has never seen Kaiju, but you know how there's like--well, have you ever seen a Godzilla movie? Please tell me you have or the rest of what I'm about to say is not going to make much sense--
no subject
and omg do you have real kajiu. do you have GIANT ROBOTS TOO because ive seen like every godzilla movie and gundam anime you can possibly think of
I am sad I don't have a suitably fanboyish icon
Ok. Details--right!
Basically our world got hit by Kaiju and we made these GIANT ROBOTS to fight them--because WHY NOT--and Hermann and I work in the Research division and I dissect Kaiju and he programmed the Jaegers and--OK, WHO ARE YOU?
I WILL JUST IMAGINE IT
but hoooooooly crap holy crap are you kidding me thats amazing REAL KAIJU and you beat them!!!
im hiro hamada we need to be friends like right now
no subject
I kid you not! REAL KAIJU, MAN. I saw one up-close and personal, too!
Hey Hiro! Call me Newt! And yes, we totally need to be friends. What do you do for a living here, dude?
no subject
im a robotics engineer at starktech. which is an awesome place to work by the way
no subject
Oh! Right! I see you talking with Hermann down there. Good stuff. Can you get him a job there? He's antsy to not do the matchmaking stuff he's been assigned.
Do they have a biotech division or anything?
no subject
and yeah totally i can talk to the boss for you. basically all of us bring in all our specialties? so my brother and i do robotics, but we work next to a biology guy, and a chemist, and a prosthetics genius ... the list goes on
no subject
Okay, yeah, I want in on this. I'll have my resume on your boss's desk like yesterday.
no subject
lemme guess youre new here
no subject
This is like day 3. How long have you been here?
