[Hey everyone, it's your friendly neighborhood Ambassador from Maurtia Falls. He's got his killer black suit and red tie combo going on as he regards the screen warmly.]

Good evening. And yes, I can say that. Because despite everything that has been happening lately, we continue to persevere. In the face of pain, and in the face of terror, we have stood strong. As I know we can continue to do together.

We remain unbroken.

I know many of you still feel anxious, however. Like me, you're probably feeling a strong urge to act, to do something. Anything to strike back against this feeling of violation. But I urge you to consider what matters. What truly matters in times like these.

Have we lost because someone struck out against our community? That we have been beaten? I have seen Imports assaulted time and again and yet I still see the resolve to continue our lives. To not bow to our fears.

Not once have I considered us beaten.

I believe that every step we take forward from tragedy is a victory. And as long as we continue to move ever onward we have never truly beaten.

That is why today I will not give any more attention to those that would wrong us. They are no longer worthy of our consideration. I come to you with my step forward into our future.

Today I bring you the Import Helix Station.

[With a wave out and behind him, the camera pans back to a large, gleaming multi-story building. Despite it's simple design, having been until recently an out of service highschool, the exterior had received a complete overhaul. Large windows framed with shining white-steel walls cover the majority of the visible side as it seems to almost glow in the evening sun.]

Of course, that's just the first name I could think of. [Revan hums this as the camera comes back to focus on him, losing much of the grandiose and somewhat enthralling tone he'd had until now. Now he seemed softer, more personable.] I'm actually open to ideas in that regard!

If you have forgotten or missed my previous announcement, I've built this facility to provide a base of operations for all Import designed services and charities that are directed towards our own community. While the other Ambassadors have done exceptional work providing for us all, I know there are several of you out there that have a desire to do good for your peers. Especially those that have just been ported in and lack the resources to comfortably start out on their new paths.

Now, you'll have the resources to do so. Any who wish to sign up their service will have all the tools and foundation they need to let their noble intentions find traction.

For starters you'll receive your own office, as well as workshop space and tools for you and anyone supporting you so you'll have a base of operations from which to act. And if you choose to register your service, you have the option of setting up the service to be a permanent addition to the facility. Meaning should you even become unable to continue your work, another noble soul can come in and pick up from where you left off.

So I urge you, come. Take this step with me into the future of Import prosperity. Together we can over come anything.

Together, like a helix. All interconnected. [He makes a bit of a spiraling motion with his hands] So... you see what I did there, yeah?

Come now Thane. There's no reason to be modest. You contributed just as much to the success of our Alaskan... commitment.

[What were they even calling that now?]

Even if barring your personal achievements there, your courage to stand with your fellow imports in such a trying time speaks for itself.

Courage? Is that what it is?

What would you call it?

Fulfillment of a contract, and loyalty to a friend. Shepard hired me, in our own universe, for a mission. During our time together, we became friends. He asked me to come to Alaska, and so I did.

You still knew you were going into a potential war zone. Out numbered and, arguable outgunned. ...Import powers not withstanding.

Numbers and weapons only matter if the enemy knows of your presence, Revan.

There's a pretty large difference between engaging in a standing fight with your allies at you back, and throwing yourself into the uncertainty of the enemy's territory. Alone. With only obfuscation between you and death.

[chancetoatone]

I do not fear death, Revan. Amonkira, Lord of Hunters, walks with me. If it is his will, my feet will be swift, my hands deft, and passage silent. If it is not, then I will go to the sea.

So you believe it is a sort of fate that put you there? No merit of your own was involved?

[chancetoatone]

[He pauses for a moment, his expression even.]

Plenty of my own merit put me there. I am a devout follow of the Lord of Hunters, and gifted hunter myself. Death is an art, as is invisibility.

Sometimes the most heroic of figures are guided by an outside influence. However this influence, this... force, is only as effective as the person who wields it.

You're faith makes you strong, I understand. But it is only a guide. You walk the path towards your destiny, not the lord of hunters.

[chancetoatone]

[He doesn't say anything for a moment, his eyes distant.]

Perhaps this is my destiny.

...Perhaps it is. Maybe you were called by this Lord of Hunters to help those in need in this universe? I believe in a similar ideology, though we don't characterize it as a person.

If there's one thing I've learned intimately is that there is no luck. Only... what is to be.

[He almost said the Force. But it's likely nobody on this world would know what that means. Right?]

We believe we can choose our own destinies, but there are beings with influence over different aspects of life, and the afterlife.

Our bodies and our souls are two halves of a Whole. The soul is always in harmony with the gods, and if the body and the soul work as a Whole, that person will live a just and fulfilled like, and will go to the Sea, cradled by Arashtu, the goddess of the afterlife.

If one were to ignore the guidance of their soul, and do only what their body wills, then they will die, and they will cease to be.

I follow a philosophy that is not so difference. Though if I had to characterize in a similar way, I would describe it as.. a flowing river. There is a course before us that most cannot see. And it's our choice to become one with the flowing water, to trust it and let it guide us. Or one can be blind to the flow and beach on every rock along the way. Yet everyone ends up the same in the end.

Too few trust to faith, don't they?

It is unfortunate. Sometimes a bit of trust in destiny would go a long way of freeing one from the shadows that haunt them.

True. Yet some are haunted by the shadows of faith.
