[The video flickers in and out, static for a moment with flashes of Porthos’ face studying it. Then, blackness, followed by more static. This happens one more time, but the next time he appears, there’s a lot of profanity and none of the censorship that would shield innocent ears from it. Eventually, the video steadies out and he fills nearly three-quarters of the frame]

If I didn’t think this thing were actually important, it’d probably be in shambles right now. [Definitely grumbling, his frustration makes it look like he’s ready to snap] None of this makes sense, none of it. [And he has the distinct feeling that no matter who he punches, throttles, or threatens, he’s not going to get the kind of answers he wants] People in Paris don’t go around kidnapping people, putting tattoos on ‘em, and generally treating us like this. [He grimaces because it sounds all too much like what people do with men like him when going to the new world, though ‘HERO’ isn’t usually what gets put on their skin] 

Who’s in charge? Because whoever is, I’ve got words to have with them.

[America is a very long way away and generally, Porthos isn't quite keen on the people who go there. Bonnaire sticks in mind as someone he'd really like to forget, though thoughts of him in a Spanish prison are kind of nice]
