Kang is clearly annoyed, obvious in both his expression and tone of voice. Luckily, he has also been provided with one set of clothing that fits his 6'4" human body.]

To those I haven't met before, my name is Kang.

This makes twice I've been yanked from my world and tossed into a new one without being asked. I'm not sure what the hell happened while I was gone; I seem to have the same powers, but everything is different, including the overall attitude towards ImPorts - particularly towards non-humans like me. It doesn't make me feel much better about the situation, though.

[He mutters a curse, and his expression turns slightly hopeful.]

There's stunned silence for a few moments because Kenzi forgets how to speak. Can he really be back? Can he really be back and remember everything from before?

[She feels like she's going to choke for a moment. He remembers.

Shit, he remembers. That means she's going to have to eventually tell him about what happened back home. About her sacrifice.]

Holy crap, man, I can't believe... I didn't think I'd ever see you again or if I did if you'd even remember me.

[Something's wrong. It's subtle, but it's there in her voice.]

[The voice, and the sudden realization that there's someone behind him, makes him jump and utter a particularly nasty curse in Nerakese.

How had this guy snuck up on him?]

You must be one of my roommates.

[He eyes the boy curiously for a moment before setting his communicator down and shifting to his real body, gaining wings, bronze-tinted scales, horns, a tail, and eight inches of height. His clothes shift as well, to a plain shirt and kilt.]

You would have seen soon enough. I am a draconian.

[Kang simply quirks an eyebrow ridge and crosses his arms over his chest.]

You wouldn't be the first to think it.

It really is you. [ He's not sure whether to be happy or not. He usually hopes most friends find their way back home safe and sound. ] Ah, yes. There's actually quite a few of us from the City here.

Yes and no. I was in The City, months ago, and we did not have government backing.

I see. [ He's silent for a moment while he takes that in. Not a big fan of government, but it doesn't seem to be as... inefficient here. ]

Being a hero, was that still the same?

Being a hero is entirely subjective.
