[In all honesty the network is lucky they aren't being subjected to a serious faced redhead who has been spending most of her days either in the library, working, or at one of the local coffee shops drinking and looking through books from said library. Instead however, she opts for text messaging rather then visual representation.]

If you're reading this I'll try not to take up too much of your time. Has anyone ever heard of instances of people just not being on the network, ever? I'm trying to find my cousin.

[She debates if she should elaborate more on why Ben would probably be here, but decides it's not really important. What's important is to find out if there's a statistical possibility that Ben might be flying lower then below the radar. If it had been a few years back she might think that that would be a statistical impossibility, but honestly, Ben's grown up a lot in the last year. She could almost imagine him staying low key enough to not be noticed by the locals. Instead, she ends things there.]

[After all, asking for help wasn't that bad of an idea right now. Especially if it was a directory that could confirm who from her world was here. There were a few she's like to see, but even more she'd like not to see on a list like that, and the sooner she knew they were here the sooner she could start figuring out how to avoid them or counteract their actions.]

It's hard to say. Being outted didn't do a lot of good for him in our world. He might have tried to stay off the network to keep it from getting out.

[Which, she realizes she's effectively ruining right now; especially if she does find him, but when weighing the pros and cons of the situation she decided it's better to find him then keep trying to keep his identity a secret.]

Has anyone figured out any logic to the people they've been taking, or does it seem pretty random?

[If there's a pattern or an algorithm or something then maybe she could figure out if/when someone from home was going to arrive. Maybe they could reverse engineer it to figure out a pattern for people to get home.]

There is a list of current imPorts and each imPort has a communicator linked to this network. If your cousin isn't there, it means he might have been Ported out. if your cousin IS there, he might not want to be a part of the network.

I'm not sure if it was ever on the list to begin with. It's just, it's complicated.

[It has a lot to do with home and his fame status vs hers. If they wanted heroes then Ben should have been at the top of the list. With it obviously not being she smells something fishy.]

Actually, no. There have been people who use it anonymously, but for the most part, they register our comms to us for a reason.

Rarely, if ever. You have to have an unregistered one, or somehow be enough of a genius that would be able to hack their systems and bypass all of their trackers and information on there.

So not so much these days.
