The kid looks quite a bit more peevish than the last time he took to a video addressing the network as a whole. And now seems to be taking to long sleeve shirts.]

It's very much like that, putting together that Nico di Angelo lives in one of the other nearby townhouses, knew Luke did too and actually managed to keep that bit of information one sided for a month... or frankly, any amount of time.]

[ Nico pauses at that, not quite catching Luke's thought process. ]

[ Nico reluctantly comes to the front door, cracking it open. Yep ... that's Luke. He swings it wide enough for the other demigod to enter. ]

[He slips inside, glancing around the townhouse. The layout is similar enough...]

[ Yep. Nico leads him to an identical kitchen area, though maybe a messier one. Thanks, freelancers. After a moment's pause, he holds out his comm. ]

How are you gonna do it?

[It could be worse, you could live with Grif. Thankfully, that's none of them. He grabs a chair and settles into it. Flipping the phone on, he... takes a moment to scowl at the text involuntarily. He'd gotten used to his really quickly.

He opens up a forwarded email, and gives a half smile at the viewscreen.]

Honestly? I'm not going to do a whole lot. There's this genius little thing I managed to stumble on.

... Really? What is it?

[ He cranes his neck a little, trying to see. ]

[Luke waves his hands, like a street magician doing a trick. True to form, when Luke turns his palms up again, the communicator is gone.

... Sorry Hiro, that screen just blurred with ridiculous speed... and the inside of a cargo pants pocket probably isn't all that interesting, but he can still hear easily.]

I'm really not sure I can trust you with that.

[ Sigh. Well, at least he can get to work. Don't think he isn't eavesdropping though. ]

[ Nico, meanwhile, scowls a bit. ]

I'm trusting you with my comm. Who knows what else you're going to do to it.

[ Now he's just exasperated. ]

Luke, please. You know how much of a pain it is doing anything on the network here. Just - just please change the language and don't touch anything else.

[There's just a tiny bit of emphasis on I, there.]

Living in the mortal world kind of sucks, huh.

[ An even more exasperated noise comes out of Nico's mouth. He looks incredibly tired already, being saddled with the worst of both worlds already. Not all of his power is gone ... but his draining ability is similarly clamped down, and it's making him moody. At least he can eat. ]

It's terrible. I don't - I don't understand how any of you managed it.

[That... actually stops some of the teasing he was going to do. His tone isn't unsympathetic, if it still has that usual bitter edge.]

Spite. At least there's not much in the way of monsters here.

It's not the Labyrinth though.

[ Or the Underworld, though for a son of Hades, navigating the Underworld is easy. Most monsters have to obey him if he can get the right command out. And the rest... well, it mostly depends on their opinion of Hades. ]

And I'd rather fight monsters than - all of this.
