[Narcissa is frustrated with this phone thing. She's never seen anything like it- it must be a Muggle thing. But it seems there is nothing for it- it seems this is something she has to do to get any real answers. Her wand is tucked just out of sight- still within reach. She's put a charm around the house, which seems empty at the moment, which would detect and alert her to any intruders. To any walking into De Chima #2, best plug your ears.

She's sitting on the couch, wearing looks like expensive clothes and the expression on her face is not friendly.]

I've been told this-device- is a means to communicate- even if it seems rather primitive.

[Really. Where are the owls? This is all so strange.]

Then I seek answers from any who may hear this. I am Narcissa Malfoy - [That should be enough introduction in her view. Who doesn't recognize the Malfoy name?] -and I want to know what this device is and what I need to know of this world.

Welcome, Ms Narcissa. I'm Clark Kent. It's a phone, and it can be tricky to use if they didn't have them in your world. It's probably better to teach you in person, if you'd like to meet?

[And sure enough, he's knocking on her door after an hour.]

[She's not getting up to let him in but at least the alarm charm is off. For now. She is sitting in one chair in the living room, the phone on one of the chair arm rests.]

[Clark isn't used to being ordered around like that by strangers, but the only way it a surprised blink before he smiles and sits where he's told.]

I am, and you must be Mrs Malfoy. Pleasure to meet you. Do you have any specific questions before we start?

[Narcissa thought nothing of it as she looked him over. Didn't seem to be anything special but she would take advantage of the offer.]

Not at the moment, lets get to the matter at hand. [She picked up the phone, looking at him to start explaining.]

[Clark nods, pointing towards the phone.] You already managed to make a general call to the network so I won't get into that.

Do you know how to call specific people? Or use text and audio instead of video?

No, I do not know those functions. [She moved to the edge of her seat so she could watch what he is doing better.]

What is...texting?

It's communicating using written words instead of speaking. Like letters?

It was 1981 where I am from. I am aware this is a different time period though.

[It doesn't help with learning with technology, especially since she never used Muggle technology even in the 80's.]

[He nods, but at least he manages to grin.] It is, we're in the next millennium. But if it makes you feel any better there's people in here that came from the 1700, so you know. It could be worse.

The good is nowadays the technology is pretty intuitive. You seem like a smart woman, you shouldn't have any problems with it.
