[Narcissa is frustrated with this phone thing. She's never seen anything like it- it must be a Muggle thing. But it seems there is nothing for it- it seems this is something she has to do to get any real answers. Her wand is tucked just out of sight- still within reach. She's put a charm around the house, which seems empty at the moment, which would detect and alert her to any intruders. To any walking into De Chima #2, best plug your ears.

She's sitting on the couch, wearing looks like expensive clothes and the expression on her face is not friendly.]

I've been told this-device- is a means to communicate- even if it seems rather primitive.

I shall be there soon. (He cuts the contact and Apparates from the forest - one of his favorite places to reside. Since they seem to be sharing a home, there is no need for him to knock. He strides into the sitting room and observes her with a small, satisfied smile.

His appearance has been altered somewhat to fit with this new life. He has a nose, for one, but there are other subtle changes.

[Despite the changes, Narcissa would know Voldemort anywhere. She rose to her feet as he entered, bowing her head in respect.

He is still her lord here and she respects that power.]

The government seem only to be able to control access to the device that brought us here. We're brought out as fast as possible and not permitted access in, irrespective of any skill or education that might be of use to understanding it. It's guarded very well. [ He won't go into detail about that on the network. ]

The government likes to treat us as 'assets'. We're not permitted to leave the country without permission and for extended periods. They seem very insistent on this, citing the Russian situation as reason. It comes with perks... a higher standing in society, so on. [ He assumes, by her manner, that Narcissa (what a name!) knows what that means. ]

[Unlike the other muggles and sub-humans she's met, this one at least seems as if he could be useful. Narcissa could appreciate that at least.

There is something left unsaid, she can tell that but there must be a reason for not going into. She will not press for now but she does take mental notes.]

I see. That is useful to know. And as Ambassador, what do your duties entail?

[She can certainly appreciate a high standing in society given that is her entire life until now. Now she is an asset but she will not make her move now. It has to be carefully calculated. Narcissa served only those she deemed worthy and there was only one who did.]
