Heeeey! [ How's that song go? Guess who's back? ] It's Naruto! Long time no see, y'know! Sorry for leavin' without sayin' much, I didn't really have any say in it. I guess they needed me real bad back home or somethin', I don't really know how it works, but I'm back now and.. [ Would it be right to tell the feed he missed being here? That's, uh... T-That's kinda public. Woah. ] --and I'm ready to go!!

[ He gives the camera a hearty little fist-pump, yes! He's leaning into the feed, the view kind of wobbly; getting closer and further away with his thumb sometimes jutting over the camera as he moves. Of course he's sharing to the network while he's outside. Sometimes the view of streets far below are visible behind him, sometimes the bare branches or the scarce littering of autumn leaves as he bounds across rooftops and through foliage, apparently not caring where his feet take him or whether or not his eyes play any part in the travel. And boy, is he smiling. Being back in ninja land was great don't get him wrong, but he's missed this world and the awful, greasy fast food he can find only here. He hasn't even stopped to settle in and he's already defiantly on his way to try all the latest additions to the menu, budget be damned. ]

Man, everythin' looks so different. [ It doesn't really, it's just that the seasons have changed and Naruto's memory has never been excellent. He cranes his head around as he moves, eyes like sparkling blue dinner plates. ] I guess I've missed a lot, huh? Anyone wanna fill me in?

[ He'll weigh out the pros and cons later and do his fair share of brooding, but for now... yeah he's pretty happy. ]

It's just pretty interestin', I guess. There's a lotta freshmeat around here complaining about wanting answers, wanting direction, wanting to know what the hell's going on. I guess the place must have some charm hidden in it for people who stick around long enough to get used to it, huh?

Well, I guess I wasn't too happy when I first got here either. [ An understatement. ] But ya get used to it, and ya make friends, and if you're comin' back to see them then it's not so bad. It's not like our worlds are goin' on without us after all, right?

[ voice ]

Aren't they? [ He's used to world-hopping, but to his knowledge, Ente Isla was very much alive while he was in Japan. That said, America was in the same world, wasn't it?

[ Ooohh, he forgot not everyone is from a different kind of world. Whoops, there he goes with his tunnel vision again. ]

Oh! I'm from the Land of Fire in the Shinobi Nations, it's a different world from this place, and Sai said everythin' stops - like, pauses - in our world while we're gone. I believed him anyways, but when I went back I saw it was true for myself. Stuff just carried on like nothin' had ever happened!

But that's good, I guess. [ Ente Isla went on while he was in Japan, but Japan stopped while he was in America? Did Ente Isla stop too, or was it an exception?

Ooh, deep thought. Head hurts now. ]

A-anyway, you have people from your world here, too, then. That's good.

Yeah. An' before ya ask - no it's not covered in flames or whatever. [ A flat look. He'd heard that a lot the first time he'd introduced himself and where he'd come from. ]

It's good, 'cause my main worry was missin' stuff while I was gone, not bein' able to help, y'know? I think that's what other people are worried about too, they're worried people they care about are gonna be worried, or they're just worried 'cos they don't know if they're safe.

[ A nod. ]

But yeah, I got lots of my friends here from my world! [ Or so he did when he was last here. ]

I've seen worlds that're engulfed in flame. Generally the people from there don't look like you.

Either way, it's useful information. There's no one at home I'm worried about missing me, but the idea of like... You know, that place going on and me not being there? It's kinda Twilight Zoney.

Ya have? [ He doesn't pay much attention to what the guy said after that; partly because he has no idea what a Twilight Zone is, but mostly because worlds engulfed in flames sound amazing!!! ] What're they like, then? Are they all gross and gruesome - like all burned and stuff?

Yeah, pretty much. The things that are alive there aren't exactly the most friendly towards humans. Or anything from the outside world. We call that world the Red Moon. ...Mostly because it's my world's Red Moon. [ His lack of tone makes it hard to tell if he's being serious or totally messing with Naruto here. ]

[ Naruto is as naive as a person can possibly be, so he has no inclination of taking this guy at anything other than face value. ]

Woah... So those guys... The burned guys.. They live on the moon? [ His eyes are weirdly sparkling. ] That's so cool..

That world has two moons. Red and Blue.

...It's really complicated, okay? [ And he's picking up that maybe this kid's not too bright. ]
