I think being friends with about forty thousand people warrants a network announcement. If any of you know Jaime Reyes, he's been Ported out.

Pretty smart guy told me that three months is a good amount of time to wait before assuming someone's not coming back with their memories, SO. I had a good idea of what we can do to make this a little happier, which is probably what he'd prefer anyhow. 'Cause he's a hippie.

Anybody interested, share a story about Jaime! Funny, nice, interesting- anything's fine so long as it's not depressing. Or if you don't have a story, maybe something you like about him or you could leave a message of something that you'd like to say to him. Maybe we can show him this if he gets back. Make him cry, so I can get blackmail pictures.

[A heavy pause.] Iiii don't want to make this sound like a eulogy or anything. Especially if he DOES come back, because then I'll look really stupid. But he's not from my world, so. You all know how that goes.

Jaime is...a seriously good guy. He's really a great- He's a great person. So. If you DON'T know that loser, definitely read around to what people have to say. You'll probably want to get to know him when you're done.

There's a slight pause before she speaks: ]

No, it's- Thanks. For looking.

It's not like he died or anything, and he could come back. So it's just- y'know, I'm just. I kind of hate how sudden it is. It just really sucks.

You were friends with him too, right? Or you guys worked a lot together.

[ It's just so hard to know when and how they'll come back. She'll be disappointed if Jaime is ported back with no memory of this place. ]

We are. I'm glad someone like him is in our side, doing good for others. Kind of feel bad now I haven't been able to properly thank him.

Well. Something to hang onto until he gets back. [Wally still has that unfair assumption that all the adult heroes back home more or less ignored Jaime but he doesn't want to start a fight here, of all times. So for once he keeps his trap shut.] He'll probably come back. He's been here longer than I have and he's gone home and come back before. It's- it'll be fine.

Me? Psh yeah I'm fine. This isn't my first 'friend went home' rodeo, I'm good.

[ Wally stood up for Jaime when it came to whole lost in space situation, after all. ]

Yeah he's like, my best friend from this place. I've got Rob from home and Jaime from here and it's pretty sweet, so. Y'know. It sucks if either of them go anywhere.

...not that it doesn't suck if other people go. Y'know what I mean.

[ She leans her chin into her hand. ]

On one hand this world gives us some great opportunities, but then things like this happen... [ She sighs. ] It's hard to prepare ourselves.

There has to be a way to control it.

There has to. There's got to be something we can do so that it's not just...accidents all the time.

I know, I'm just not sure what. The Porter might be dangerous and tampering with it... who knows what we might do?

It can't be worse than what's already happening, can it?

It's not harming us... physically, at the very least.

We can't just not try to figure something out because it might go south. We'd never get anything done that way!

I don't know, Wally! If it's our only ticket out of here, we have to exercise some caution!

Oh my god how much caution should we be exercising?! It's been like this forever and this is still going on!

We can't exactly go busting into military labs! The last people that did didn't really get anything out of it.

That's the part that's pissing me off! If we can't get anything out of it, why are they bothering to put the damn thing on lockdown in the first place? It's stupid! If they just let a bunch of us go in and look at it, really get a chance to study it then maybe we'd be able to help!

It just stinks. It stinks and I don't like it.

Right now, I don't think forcing our way in is a wise idea. If we could talk with them and see if they would agree to let some imPorts who understand whatever technology the Porter is made from to take a look... with supervision, obviously.

C'mon. Somebody's had to have tried that before. Didn't they let that one person in forever ago as some kinda PRIZE? They don't take us seriously.
