[ Bubblegum's holding the camera on her own. For anyone who might be an avid TV watcher, you might've seen this pink face in a recent TV commercial for pink toothpaste. (They made her dress up like a fairy. She needed the money.) Otherwise, she just seems like an abnormally pink person wearing a pink, goopy mass of hair and sitting on a worn, olive green couch.

Above her, there's a partial view of a giant, black poster for an obscure screamo band (Mercy Revision). If you saw the rest of this apartment, you'd know this isn't Bubblegum's. Or maybe you'd think Bubblegum just has surprising taste in interior design. Maybe you don't judge?

There is a small shihtzu-poodle mix lying docile on her lap, watery eyes open and looking around but otherwise unmoving. Bubblegum herself seems a little stone-faced. Her mouth is small while she speaks. ]

I'm wondering if it's a normal phenomenon for you guys, having a ton of people peace out at once. I've seen the other posts here about it.

[ Not that it matters much. She looks down at the dog, Ozzy, and gives it a few pets. ]

Anyway, unless you've seen her around? I'm guessing Marceline's been sent home. The Vampire Queen. If you have seen her, give me a holler. [ She brings up her hand and holds it a wide breadth from her hair. ] Pale skin? Massive black hair? And she's got a bite mark on her neck. [ Indicating the left side of her neck with her two first fingers, for those who need visuals or who forgot where the neck is.

She'd found Ozzy starving and no way of reaching her anywhere. This doesn't seem like a usual case of runaway Marceline that she's dealt with. ]

I can't pay rent to keep her place here for her in case she comes back. If someone knows an easy way to transport stuff from Maurtia Falls over to Heropa, you'd be doing me a huge solid. Thanks.

I think I talked to her a few days ago on the network! I recognize the name from her communicator I.D. She... [ seemed like she was both longing for and dreading going back home. he isn't sure what to think of this now that it happened. ] She didn't like that her time here would mean nothing if she went back home. So I'll make sure to remember her.

[ Onscreen is a woman bubblegum's met before, though much less Dracula. No cape, hair less strictly held fast. She's more herself than a costume, but the fangs haven't gone anywhere. ]

I wouldn't get too ahead of yourself, someone being gone in no way indicates that they won't return. Best to wait a few weeks, under normal circumstances. But, we're approaching December, and the Porter always tends to be less active then. I'd give it until January, personally.

[ Which is actually what she's doing, even though her roommate's been gone for weeks already. But she pulls a face, lips screwing into a frown. ]

[ She didn't expect Kanaya to change at all after hearing that she's a real deal vamp herself. She's glad to see a familiar face, at least, if under sad circumstances. ]

Marceline wasn't registered. She's in single-person housing under her own budget. I can't really afford to keep up rent for her, especially if she doesn't end up coming back...

[ Maybe there's an easier way around it? Bubblegum pushes her mouth to one cheek, contemplating. ]

But, yeah, I know her, and it's cool that at least one other vampire here does too. She and I actually come from the same place back home.
