[ Bubblegum's holding the camera on her own. For anyone who might be an avid TV watcher, you might've seen this pink face in a recent TV commercial for pink toothpaste. (They made her dress up like a fairy. She needed the money.) Otherwise, she just seems like an abnormally pink person wearing a pink, goopy mass of hair and sitting on a worn, olive green couch.

Above her, there's a partial view of a giant, black poster for an obscure screamo band (Mercy Revision). If you saw the rest of this apartment, you'd know this isn't Bubblegum's. Or maybe you'd think Bubblegum just has surprising taste in interior design. Maybe you don't judge?

There is a small shihtzu-poodle mix lying docile on her lap, watery eyes open and looking around but otherwise unmoving. Bubblegum herself seems a little stone-faced. Her mouth is small while she speaks. ]

I'm wondering if it's a normal phenomenon for you guys, having a ton of people peace out at once. I've seen the other posts here about it.

[ Not that it matters much. She looks down at the dog, Ozzy, and gives it a few pets. ]

Anyway, unless you've seen her around? I'm guessing Marceline's been sent home. The Vampire Queen. If you have seen her, give me a holler. [ She brings up her hand and holds it a wide breadth from her hair. ] Pale skin? Massive black hair? And she's got a bite mark on her neck. [ Indicating the left side of her neck with her two first fingers, for those who need visuals or who forgot where the neck is.

She'd found Ozzy starving and no way of reaching her anywhere. This doesn't seem like a usual case of runaway Marceline that she's dealt with. ]

I can't pay rent to keep her place here for her in case she comes back. If someone knows an easy way to transport stuff from Maurtia Falls over to Heropa, you'd be doing me a huge solid. Thanks.

Aw, yes! I know Riku. But, as I understand it, his portals aren't able to transport living beings. Not without parting them with their souls, or some such nonsense.

-Whoa, what the crud? With their whole soul? So that's why he couldn't take Ozzy through his Corridor. No offense, but wow. Dang. [ That's a little messed up. Even cool powers have to have backfires, she supposes. ]

Has it ever happened before?

I don't know if that's exactly the case. It was something like that, he told it to me months ago. Whatever the specific details, the only thing I know for sure is that it was better avoided.

Mine are a little better suited to moving people.

Well, how about puppies?

[glowsferatu]

[ She laughs lightly. ]

Well, of course it can move puppies. Or, at least, it's safe for puppies to walk through.

You're about to be my puppy savior if you think you can make it here on Saturday. If you can, got any requests for refreshments?

Sunday should be fine! I'd never miss a chance to meet a dog. [ Wait. ] Um, help a dog. That's what I meant. Obviously.

And...you don't really need to worry about refreshments. Really. I'll bring my own.

[ What in the world would candy person blood taste like, anyway? Do candy people even bleed? ]

[ Don't get curious Kanaya... Unless they're some kind of jelly-filled candy, there's probably no blood. They're more like taffy. ]

Oh, sure. Just help it. I getcha. [ MM-HMM. ] I know you're a vamp, but you're not into cookies or anything?

[glowsferatu]

[ She just really likes dogs, okay! Don't shame her!! ]

Not particularly. I can't really taste them, so the whole process just seems a bit pointless. It's blood or nothing, for the most part.

[sweetarts]

That's interesting! I know Marceline can drink the red out of stuff, but I'm not sure if it has different flavors depending on what she drank it out of... [ She's probably told her this answer before. ]

Anyway, I gotcha. If there's anything else that I can do for you to pay you back, though, you'd better let me know.

There's no need to worry, I'm glad to volunteer without repayment. You need the help, I can offer it, that's simple enough!

[ On another note... ] You said that she drinks...red?

[sweetarts]

You're sweet, Kanaya. Thanks again.

And yeah. [ Shrug. She reaches her free hand up to her mouth in gesture. ] Like, if you bring her a red apple, she just bites and sucks the color out of it. You knew her, right?

Well, sort of. But I suppose I never saw her feed, as I didn't think it could be that simple. Most vampires...don't just need the blood for its color.

Not all blood is even red. [ Some of the best blood isn't red at all! ]

[sweetarts]

Mm, she can drink blood like the usual vamps do. Drinking red is like an alternative. [ According to Marceline at times, though, it's not as good as drinking the real thing. ]

You've met some peeps with crazy blood colors? What species?

My species, of course, Alternian trolls. Our entire society was built around where one fit in the varied hues of the hemospectrum! My own caste was one of the rarer ones, directly in the middle.

We had jade green blood.
