[There might be a snap and fizz from your iphone before anything, which might make it seem like the damn thing just broke on you out of no where. Feel free to check it and curse while you look it over but as you do an audio post from the network opens up. Another fizz, static, some crackles of energy and then just some good, ol' fashioned white noise before there's a voice. Still static laced at first.]

Ah, and I didn't think this thing was too hard to use... new powers- is this what they meant, damnit- I feel like I just- oh...

[He- realizes it's on, dang. It shifts over to video but the image of the grey haired boy looks- rough. Like it's a botched transmission, or kind of out of range. His brows pinch, the red of his vest is the easiest to make out.]

Hey- Akihiko Sanada here. I'm a new imPort, and yeah I got the idea of what's going on here, and from talking enough with those in charge I also got the idea that we're stuck. Fine. But- ah... [An anxious sigh. God he feels- dumb here. Come on, man, get to the point of the post.]

What the hell is with these communicators? Is it just me? My whole body- it- it was like static now- it's all dark.

I guess it's why they bring in all kinds here then. [A thoughtful 'hm', then a pause.]

Is there any clue as to what sort of new imports will be brought in? If we can figure out if someone we'll know will ever be brought here? And do they make a habit of bringing back the dead?

That depends. Did they die here or there? I can't say for here, [ four months and no import deaths, it's like a miracle. ] but there never stops it.

But there is no way of forecasting it. Our handlers have no control over who is brought, though there have been correlations, patterns. When one person arrives, the chances of others they know being ported have a tendency to rise. But it's never a guarantee. Nothing involving the porter is a real guarantee.

There- back home. I'd just rather be prepared for if next time if it's a common thing. [Hell he- he's not sure how he'd fair if Miki showed up here. Would they just bring a little girl? Could they with how long she's been gone?]

You can really never tell who will arrive next, when they will arrive, when they will arrive from. The porter tends to send them according to its own whims.

And those whims are never something you can entirely trust.

And for being sent back?

Generally much the same. Who can say how many days each person has allotted? They come when they come and they go when they go.

Great. Well at least we know for sure it's not a pick and choose thing, that'd probably rub a lot of people the wrong way anyway. [A breath.] Guess I'll just have to be prepared for whatever this place throws at me, nothing really new there.
