[ After Ken and Shepard disappeared one after another in what felt like rapid succession in October, Kasumi's started to keep a close watch on the IDs on the Network, remaining vigilant in case someone else she knows suddenly stops appearing on the list. So she'd known practically the moment he was gone that Glitch was ported out, and--well, Ken and Shepard came back, so Glitch could too, right?

And why is it always the ones who have to go back to a dangerous, shitty place that seem to get sent back? The Porter is a cruel, cruel mistress. ]

[ this is definitely a bit awkward. He hadn't expected Kasumi to contact him. After all, there was that rift he had felt between them. Maybe he had imagined it...maybe not.

Still, she's talking to him so he'll continue his series of texts. ]

[ Now there's the question he doesn't want to answer. Would she come check on him? If he didn't answer she'd likely check his house first and he didn't really want to leave right now.

He could lie, but, this is master thief Kasumi. She'd figure it out quick enough and find him eventually.

There's also that sneaking suspicion that even if he did lie that Kasumi had cameras planted in his room or something. So, unfortunately he decides to opt for truth and hope she doesn't decide to drop by. ]
