[The video feed comes on revealing Flame Princess looking... very different from how she normally is. Sitting on a couch and completely bundled in a ridiculous amount of blankets, with only her face and a few locks of hair. It's difficult to recognize her like this, but it's easy enough to identify her voice once she finally speaks.]

So how come we barely go a month or two in this place without some jerk just donking everything up? What was even with that, anyway? Like, a lot of weird junk has happened before but this really wasn't cool!

Like, okay, I guess being a human is kind of neat or whatever but how the bjork are you guys not freezing to death all the time!? [Going from fire elemental temperature to average human/kryptonian body temperature has been... an adjustment, to say the least. She doesn't like it.]

The whole leaking water thing is still really weird, too. [That's sweating, FP.] I don't get it, but I guess I'm going to have to figure it out for however long this thing lasts.

Has anybody found out who was behind what happened, yet? I've been wanting to try finding out on my own, but... yeah. It's been kind of hard to focus like this.

[A pause.] ... also, if anybody is made of fire now, you'll be fine. Just avoid water and don't feel things too hard.

I mean, you can't burn through the world while you're here, so you don't have to worry about that happening. Buuuuuut you're still going to want to be careful not to get too intense. And either I'm going to have to teach you how to cast flame shield properly, or you're going to need to cover all the stuff you like in foil.

Figured I should probably give you a head's up. [Uh.] If that's actually happened to anyone.

Yeah, I... feel human? I guess. If feeling human means being cold all the time.

[ He supposes being human would feel cold to someone who's on fire on the time, but he wouldn't really know. It gets a small chuckle, anyway. ]

That's what sweaters are for. [ He pauses. Hold on a minute... ] You do have human clothes, right?

[ Somehow, from the blankets, he's suspecting the answer is likely "no." ]

I do. I had a few human clothes that I'd just cast flame shield on and wear sometimes. [She's actually wearing some of them now.] But they're not warm enough!

Probably because you don't have any sweaters or jackets.

[ A pause. ]

We've got one or two extra ones kicking around that should fit you. [ Even if it's not permanent, no sense letting her freeze until it fixes itself. ] I'm taking Mako for a walk, so I can drop them off.

'Made of fire'? Have we got a rage demon wandering around to worry about?

N...o? [Demons aren't made of fire, she's pretty sure. At least not back in Ooo.]

I got turned into some kind of human and it seems like I've got their powers, too. [Though she doesn't know the full extent of that, yet.] Which probably means somebody out there is looking like I normally do. Y'know, made of fire.

...Are you sure about that? [Yeah, cause he's pretty sure fire person = demon. Or at the very least some messed up magic.]

I'm not from the Nightosphere, so yeah, I'm not a demon.

Where I'm from, everyone in my kingdom is a fire elemental. Kind of have to be when you're living in the Fire Kingdom.

You are normally a fire elemental, or something like one, correct? I imagine it's much harder for you to adjust than it was for me.

[Reptiles and mammals are very different, but he, at least, was already organic.]

I hope this mess gets fixed quickly.

Yeah, that's right. It's really weird, going from being made of fire too... not being that.

Yes? I mean, I haven't really done a lot with this body yet except just be super cold so maybe there's some good stuff, too, but I like the way I normally am.

Yeah, you're going to want to be really careful when dealing with your stuff. Or else it'll just burn up, unless it's made of like, rock or metal or whatever. Then it'll be fine as long as you don't get too hot.

I mean don't get so hot that you melt through rock and metal? Kind of ties in with the whole "don't feel things too much" thing I said. I usually burn hotter when I feel really intense emotions or whatever.

[ All of what she's seen on the network about what's been happening is terrifying. She at least parses that everyone's powers have been messed with and thrown around. And it's even more terrifying to think that someone has Flame Princess's powers, and they might be even more unstable with them as FP herself is. She's going to keep a close eye out on this post, all over the network and the news, and around Heropa for any signs of this. ]

You've gotta let me know if you find out who has your powers. [ She's getting that out of the way immediately.

Do you need any help? [ Like a heater? More clothes? Better blankets? ]

It looks like some guy has them, but apparently he hasn't done any real damage to anything, so. I think it should be okay.

And I'm... not sure? Shepard's coming over with some sweaters and such. But I don't know how much that'll help since I'm still super cold even with a bunch of blankets.

I guess as a fire elemental, you wouldn't really need a biological system that attempts to maintain inner thermal stasis. You're always just hot as bunk. Just don't freak out your new body, okay? It's just trying to regulate its temperature to keep you alive. You'll get used to it.
