third helix ♥ VIDEO; backdated to Jan 1
[ Haen smiles for the camera, but it looks a little less exuberant than normal. ]
My dears, I have a question for you all. How do you make an empty house seem less empty? I'm afraid both of my charming boys have left without so much as a goodbye, and it's now just myself in such a large space. I've never lived on my own, you see, and while I know how, it's only... well, it's very quiet.
[ Something of an irony, given Haen's penchant for chatter. ]
I've tried the radio, and it isn't seeming to do the trick, so I'd much appreciate anyone's thoughts on it.
EDITED IN LATER: I don't suppose... anyone might wish to be roommates?

[ Still, she sounds unsure about the prospect. ]
Though I'm not certain that will alleviate the entire problem.
[ Pets are nice, but the interaction with someone is what she's missing. ]

Perhaps you have friends who could fill the house for you, Madame. No one should find themselves alone at the turn of the year.
Re: video
That's certainly an option, if it wouldn't inconvenience anyone.

[ And few people mention it. She's observant, he thinks. ]
You ought to invite them. I would like to think they would not leave you lonely.
failing that, I suppose you could look for new housemates. I'm sure the others would understand, if they've gone.
Re: video
You think so? I would like to make it something they enjoy. I could bake! Or offer something nice to drink.

I really think everyone has positive aspects, I'd hate to accidentally miss knowing someone because they feel excluded. Both of the men whom shared #19 with me were rather quiet, actually. But it was very nice to know they were there.
As for schedule, I have two jobs, so I'm not always at home!

Or fill the place with stuff. There, not empty.
Re: video
I don't think stuff is really going to solve the problem of the quiet.

[Very helpful, Sera.]

A pet is rather a one sided conversation, I'm afraid.

But pets are great company, I have found. Even if they can't talk.

['Left', they both say, as if they don't mean it as 'disappeared as if they were never here'.]
... Were you friends?
[A friend porting out is a hundred times worse than an acquaintance -- Riku knows well.]
no subject
Well, they were my charming boys, but I didn't know them before I arrived here. Then again, in a way they were the first ones I knew.

[Riku turns the conversation to private, partly because he's self-conscious but partly because he doesn't want Sora seeing it and calling him a sap. Which he is. Shh.]
... I'm sorry.
