Two questions.
1.) Who are the least responsible adult (18+) imPorts here?
2.) Is anyone interested in doing summer tutoring in higher level mathematics, chemistry, biology, or modern and ancient history? Geography is also useful. I won't be able to pay well at first, but we can work out different forms of compensation.

I myself, on the other hand, have been an imPort for approximately two years.
The circumstances are quite different.

But the task itself is essentially the same.

Whatever its purpose may be.
You may choose to believe that purpose is some type of heroism.

[ a slight pause ]
Will you identify yourself to me?

To address your possible curiosity, it is, in fact, an accurate name.

[ Since a name has different connotations depending... sort of. ]

My creator, if you prefer that terminology.
It is not typical for daughters to be named by their fathers?

[ A name like Danger... ]
Your father must have had some high expectations for you.
no subject
But that is somewhat irrelevant now.
Did your father have high expectations for you, Annie Leonheart?
no subject
My father was an idealist. Idealists aren't known for being realistic in their expectations.
no subject
Perhaps I disappointed him.
But we cannot exist to serve our fathers.
no subject
What do you exist to serve? It's not that I don't agree. Existing, not existing, such things are much more self-serving than anything like that.
no subject
My free will is relatively nascent.
So I have had little opportunity to explore my own desires and capabilities.
And you, Annie Leonhart?
What is it that you serve?
no subject
[ For the first time, herself. It's a dismaying idea, even while it's freeing, because it's a temporary sort of illusion. Only meant to last as long as her time in this place does. ]

Perhaps we will have the opportunity to work together in some official capacity then.
I have been assigned to Homeland Security.

My personal functions are generally data-related.
But I am equipped for combat.
