I've got to agree with the other person I saw on here that this file business? Very creepy. There's some stuff on this medical file that I know Fixit never had a chance to add. It's way too detailed for me to be comfortable with. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad that I don't have a huge gaping hole in my chest, but kind of sketchy.

Actually, what I'm looking for is to know about this whole thing about working with the military. I've been down that road before and the results weren't exactly pretty. Still, I'm trying to keep an open mind about it since it's kind of nice to not be shot at by humans for a change, but I want to make an informed choice. Any help would be appreciated.

Something like that. Not officially, but I'm not sure when I stopped being something like a cop to a soldier.

Then you have an idea of what benefits there might be. They won't press right away for a decision. It's not one you can't change later, but for those who can benefit from working with someone who has a better network of connections than they do, it's not the worst choice.

You want to know the beast from the inside to know how it is things work. It's a benefit - the cost being the potential demand of you to work within its specified capacities.

Most of them are going to tell you to join, that there's nothing harmful about them, that they just want to help.

I suppose whether or not it is worth it cooperate with the human government depends on how much trouble you are willing to risk if you don't, and you do something they don't like.

I haven't heard of any instances of the people here shooting anyone of us. So there's that. I've been down this road before too. Kind of — by proxy. It didn't go well in my world. But this isn't my world. Now that I have a chance to change it again, I rather be involved then not, to be honest.
