[Wanda has already seen Steve Rogers's network post and replied to it. Touching base with The Boss (er, probably more like former boss, technically, as they're not in their world any longer) when she saw his post -- and pleasantly surprised at his presence here as well -- became first priority for her.]

[When she starts this video off with the introduction, her accent is Eastern European, probably unfamiliar for most to completely pin down; Sokovia also didn't get much attention in her universe, anyway (not before Ultron), so even the Sokovian accent may be unfamiliar to many from her own world as well. Though, to those with a Serbia as well in the universes from which they hail from, before they arrived in this one, they might think she sounds vaguely Serbian, but that's as close as they'll probably be able to come. Assuming they're familiar with the Serbian accent at all.

Appearance-wise, she has long and dark hair, Caucasian, mid-twenties, and the makeup on her face is mostly just dark eyeliner and red lipstick. She's changed into something a little less obvious than her Avengers outfit that she arrived here in, so no shot of a fancy costume for you people today, sorry.]

I am new here, and skipping the usual round of questions from others who have recently arrived -- [She's already flicked back a few entries on this network device, browsing through it before broadcasting this video. It's how she came across Steve's very recent post.] -- but since I have already seen one man on the network who is familiar to me, I thought I would take a 'roll' -- [English expressions for things are so weird sometimes.] -- and see if there is anyone else here who may be familiar with me. So? [That's her cue for people to introduce themselves.]

And a last general question: The information I was given has my housing in the Nonah apartment complex. If anyone could tell me their favorite places in the city -- to visit, to eat, whatever -- I would appreciate that and will accept all suggestions.

SHIELD or .. Hydra? [Don't take it personally, Skye. She was lead to believe for a while that the people she and her brother signed up to ally with were not Hydra forces, and then after the experiments were over, Hydra had it's coming out party and suddenly the people in charge said they were Hydra.]

My history with SHIELD is not the best. [She and her brother had a lot of hate for SHIELD, too, in addition to Tony Stark and America/the West in general.] But the agents and former agents of SHIELD that I have met and spent time with most recently, they have shown that they are good people. They helped Sokovia. [If those are the people Skye works for, then she will choose to trust that she is one of the good ones too.]

Helped with Sokovia? What happened in Sokovia?

Yeah. I think most of us did.

[Those who weren't Hydra already.]

It ... Ultron? The capital city, Novi Grad? [Blew out of the sky.] My brother and I were trying to defend Sokovia before that, but we did not have the power we had after the experiments. How did you know about us but no nothing of what happened in Sokovia? [Now she's really confused. It's not harsh, but, just confused.]

[That name was not remotely familiar to Skye. Nor would it be for any reason.]

[That IS weird. But okay. She'll fill in the painful blanks.]

Tony Stark built peacekeeping robots to help protect the earth, robots called Ultron. They wound up dong the opposite and they hurt people. They put people in danger, caused deaths. Sokovia's capital city was lifted out of the sky by them, so that it would be like a meteor and ruin the earth. SHIELD and the Avengers helped get people on the floating city off and onto the hellicarrier. [She blinks back the water forming in her eyes.] Most of the civilians got off, but my brother went back with an Avenger for one more. [She pauses to wipe the water that's forming around her eyes again away, and clears her throat.] --Sorry.

[If this had been just a few years ago, Skye would've thought this girl was nuts. A city lifted out of the ground and into the sky? Her stomach was in knots. It's not that she hadn't worried about her team, but now that she knew something terrible had happened yet again...]

Oh my god.

She had been so focused on what could've happened to her team that it takes her a minute to realize why it was Wanda had gotten choked up.]

[She shakes her head; Skye doesn't have anything to apologize for. She literally had no idea, coming from an earlier time.]

You have nothing to apologize for; as you say, you had no idea of what happens in what is the future for you, nor would anyone expect you to. And it did involve maybe some of your friends -- [she has no idea how close Skye might be to any of the Avengers] -- so you probably should know.

[Yeah. If only. She had never met any of the Avengers personally. Unless you count those three glorious seconds she made eye contact with Tony Stark. Well, she made eye contact. His eye contact was more so on her boobs as she was wearing one of the Ironettes costumes.

How long ago did this happen?

It was in early May, 2015. When I last left our world, it was closer to the end of May. So, not that long ago for me.

[May. What the hell happened in May? Was she even around in May? It was so hard to remember, she's been here for three months now and back home was a blur now. At least as far as dates were concerned.]

How did you get the civilians off the land?

Were there SHIELD agents on the ground?

[Skye knows this has to be tough for Wanda, to relive a terrible day.]

No, I understand. I would ask the same. Nick Fury and Maria Hill brought the hellicarrier, which I believe I heard the story of the man named Phil Coulson had kept for such an event, if it were needed. SHIELD members and Sokovians were put on the hellicarrier, and then the city was blown up by efforts from Stark and Thor so it wouldn't crash down to earth. Your SHIELD and Avengers friends are all okay.

[As far as she knew. Unless she had more knowledge on the fact to prove they were okay.

Her heart clenched at the mention of Coulson though. Wait.]

Nick Fury? But he's dead.

I heard that he had faked his death at some point, yes. [She got caught up to speed on some of the points of Avengers life between the Battle of NY and when she came in. Not everything, but enough.] But he is alive and well. He is at our new base in upstate New York with us.

Does SHIELD know Nick Fury is alive? Has he been reinstated as the Director of SHIELD?

SHIELD's leadership should know, yes, because Phil Coulson is still the Director of that agency as it tries to rebuild. Fury is fine staying with us as sort of an advisor type, seems to have no desire to want to lead SHIELD again.

Do you know anything else about Coulson's team?

[divaricate]

I haven't met them, and I don't know their names. So, no. But I do know that without Coulson or his team, Sokovia would have had a much different ending. A worse one, I mean -- not that it was a happy ending as it happened.

I'm sorry about your brother.

[And she meant that. Skye hadn't wanted to come off as selfish, especially when her brother was dead. Skye knew a little about their past. That they were orphans. That they only had each other and now she was alone. Skye, more than a lot of people, knew exactly what that felt like.]

I work with Coulson and the rest of his team. Or, worked. Since, you know, now I'm here.

Not just him, I also meant the part about the city being blown up. Even if no one died on it. [Part of her country was still literally torn apart. A country that she loved and always worked so hard to fight for.] But, thanks. [She offers a small nod.]

Have you worked with him long?

I can't even imagine...

[Well she can, a little. What with the Battle of New York and having been there.]

Close to, wow. Close to two years. I hadn't even realized it had been that long until just now.

So you'd been there a while before Hydra... [Ruined everything.]

It's easy to lose track of time when you're busy, I suppose. [A faint smile.] SHIELD agents or Avengers, neither of us really work on a nine-to-five schedule.

Before SHIELD was made up half of actual SHIELD agents and the rest were undercover HYDRA? Yeah.

[One of them being Grant Ward but she so didn't want to go there right now.]

No. We really don't.
