There's silence for about fifteen seconds, and then the sound of movement. It could be dragging or dusting oneself off, both or neither.]

I... I don't know what that was all about, I'm sorry. Whatever it is, it's passed. [He sounds like he's catching his breath.

After an awkward silence,] I really don't know what to say now, but that was sudden.

[This is where he ends it, mostly because he feels so incredibly uncertain.]

...What do you mean "what"? I mean exactly that, I've never really been to a doctor. Never really needed to after the change, and before? The medical practice wasn't anything like it is today. People didn't just go to the doctor back then.

Well, now that all depends on perspective. [He was born during those times, so he'll always have a certain attachment to them whether the world changes for better or worse. And though he didn't ask to be changed, he does reap some benefits from having done so.]
