Well, happy birthday to me.

The Porter recently took the one I've relied upon for years, and this [ She brings her hand up, holding a large knife. ] has proven a feeble replacement. I'd prefer something with more weight and reach, something that can actually deal damage. Motorized, if possible.
So, I'm open to suggestions. If you craft any yourself, sell me on your product. I'm willing to learn something new, but no firearms. They don't agree with my style.

Interestingly enough, it was just around the time the person who gave me her egg left. Perhaps this is the Porter's way of ensuring ontological certainty. Ashiah isn't technically an imPort, she's only ever lived on this planet. But she only exists because she's connected to an imPort, I suppose.
And perhaps this is Lachesis' way of telling me it's time to lay down arms to focus on motherhood. It would be nice if it were ever that easy.

For barehanded fighting? I can't fight barehanded, and pretty damn well if I'm allowed a moment of mild ego. But there are limits to what can be fought that way.

I could show you how to sprain people. You'd be surprised how, uh, the fight goes out of someone when their arm feels all squishy.

The fact that you and I have actually done that before should be indication enough that these things crop up more often than you might think. And doesn't even get into all the times I've faced worse without you!
I wouldn't be thinking about this if I hadn't come from just such an occasion a few days ago.

I had to wrestle a werewolf. He was exponentially stronger than I am, and possibly better at regenerating.
