[The video starts by showing a tired young man, sitting in a rather plain bedroom. His hair's a little messed up, and he's still wearing the clothes he arrived in, a blue coat draped over his usual red suit.]

I should be trying to sleep, but I don't think I can. Not after everything that's happened today. I'm still trying to wrap my head around it.

I'm Apollo Justice, and... I don't want to be here. There's not much else I can say about it. I was in the middle of an important investigation, and being kidnapped to- to wherever this is, and given weird powers by a bunch of military guys, wasn't exactly on my agenda! I'd just like to thank whoever had this bright idea, or whatever cosmic force decided it'd be funny to keep me from finding out the truth-!

[He squeezes his eyes shut and takes a deep breath, sounding a little calmer when he continues,] ... Okay. I'm fine. Tomorrow, I'll try to get my bearings and find out more about this place. It's not like I have much of a choice.

It's... complicated.

[ Her sigh is audible. ]

For some of us, it's not so much... more than one thing, bringing people here. Rather... we've had more than one "here" to be brought to.

[ The audio clicks off; a couple minutes later, what returns is a text message containing a link to another, older Network post, followed by: ]

It's a long story.

[Apollo takes a while to respond, mostly because he reads over that post about three times.]

Long, sure... but that's incredible! It's like something out of a movie! Does that mean the... porter thing, the one that's here, is it ran by an AI too?

I don't know. The way I've heard it, before we, that is, before Lachesis's imPorts arrived here, she was able to connect to the Porter in this universe. She made it possible for it to bring us from that world—made sure this world would be expecting us. Since we've arrived, though, there hasn't been a trace of her... but that doesn't necessarily mean she's gone, or that some other intelligence is controlling that machine.

Why it's bringing in people from their own worlds, that aren't on the verge of destruction... I don't know that, either.

That's... that's a lot to go through. Those of you that were in that other place before, I mean.
