[ the feed comes on to show a boy with very tall hair and a much shorter girl with scratches on her face over her eye, one looking rather cheerful and the other less so. ]

Hi hi hi everyone, I have an important question. [ he holds up a finger, tilts his head as if a thought had just occurred to him. he's so preoccupied he was going to launch himself into his spiel without even introducing himself. ] I'm being rude. I am Henry Cheng, and we were wondering —

[ the not so tall and in fact very short girl interrupts. ] We're looking for someone we know! [ she pulls a little face, looking over at Mr. Henry Cheng. ] A few people, actually. [ okay, maybe that was a little rude. she murmurs something unintelligible and takes a step back. please, proceed. ]

And that was my lovely friend Blue. [ he gestures with a flourish toward her, shoots her a wink, absolutely unbothered by the interruption or her outburst. ] As she said, we are looking for someone. Multiple someones. I'm sure this place has a list of sorts, yes? A quick way to CTRL-F a friend's name and find out their status?

[ he looks a bit more serious, then, like underneath the cheerfulness he's exhausted. his next words are very earnest. ]

We would appreciate any info. Thank you.

[ in the background, Blue begins tromping away, shedding dead leaves for some reason, and can be vaguely heard to say 'maybe we should've mentioned Gansey by name' before the video ends. ]

[That sounds vaguely ominous.]

[oceiteres]

I'm a tree, haven't you heard? [ She says this a bit wryly. ] This folder says I don't need to eat or drink, except for water. I just have to have sunlight and air, like a plant or something.

That sounds ridiculous, right?

[admemoriam]

[He isn't sure. More evidence is needed.]

But can you eat? If you want to, I mean?

[oceiteres]

I don't really know. I haven't tried. [ She says this like it's occurring to her she'll probably have to try soon. ]

[admemoriam]

Well, clearly, that means we need to go eat the biggest pizza ever, just to find out.

[Just the two of them. Obvs.]

[oceiteres]

[ She thinks about that for a second. ]

All right. Whoever eats the most wins.

[admemoriam]

You don't even know what you're getting yourself into. You've never seen me eat.

[oceiteres]

[ She makes a sort of 'well then' expression. ] And when was the last time you saw me eat? [ Something that was not a dessert item. ]

[admemoriam]

You eat yogurt, like, every five minutes.

[oceiteres]

That's a total exaggeration. [ She eats yogurt like... twice, maybe three times a day. And eats food an average of twice, maybe three times a day. ]

[admemoriam]

Ronan should've put a mini-fridge in your room, just for that.

[He'd be sticking out his tongue if he was an actual child. Oh, wait.]

[oceiteres]

[ She huffs and crosses her arms. ] You mean he didn't? [ Trying not to smile here. Really. ] I ought to file a complaint.

I'm sure he'll listen to you. He's sensible like that.

[oceiteres]

I'll make him. [ Crossing her arms all the harder? ] I'm stubborn like that.
