there's a reason Ryuuko isn't usually put in charge of the grocery shopping, mainly because she doesn't have the patience for the pricing of items, or hunting down specific brands, and she especially isn't a fan of all the other pushy shoppers lurking around every corner and making the entire experience ten times more difficult than it has to be.

but whatever, a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. and right now a girl has to grocery shop.

[Grocery shopping is one of the greatest things Mako has ever gotten to do, and that includes her brief love affair with that machine gun on No Late Day.

Mako hasn't even noticed all the stares her wrist is generating, instead revelling in all the different brands and qualities the store has to offer. And then she turns an aisle, and everything, all the foods and items that she finally has the means to get, all of it goes gray and meaningless in the background.

She's off and running before she even knows it, her massive purple bag dropped by her cart.]
