[Allura is looking a lot taller, a lot more purple, and a lot more armoured than she usually does, but she's kind of in a bit of a overwhelmed mood to focus her attention on turning back into her usual self at the moment. It looks like she's currently in the car everyone here should be familiar with, on her way to her assigned housing.]

This is Princess Allura of the planet Altea. I...[Her determined look falters slightly, but she shakes her head, continuing] am not quite certain if that actually means anything in this galaxy, but if it does, please contact me as soon as you can.

[She's kind of keeping this air of authority for her own sake, but her expression does shift into something softer.

It's also now when she realizes she's been keeping up her disguise, so before continuing, she visibly shifts into her more usual self, seeming to shrink a little in her armour which now looks too big for her, and her skin changes from purple to her usual shade of brown.]

While I will certainly endeavor to help this planet in whatever way I am able to help, especially considering this is...apparently Earth, there are far greater dangers out there in the galaxy that I must help stop before it reaches this planet.

Zarkon needs to be stopped, and I cannot do that while being landlocked on a distant planet.

I had a feeling those names would mean little on this planet. Earth always seemed so distant on the star maps, so it shouldn't be surprising that there is little awareness of what is going on elsewhere.

No, I am not from Earth. And from my own experience there are some differences between Altean and human...ways of speaking.

He swallows thickly and then raises something else (whatever the MoM equivalent of a Hostess Ding Dong is) to his mouth to take a big bite. He's trying to be polite and talk around it, too, but he's still talking with his mouth full, muffled behind his hand. ]

Welcome to Earth, Princess Allura. I understand this isn't what you'll want to hear, but I'm afraid this Zarkon matter won't actually reflect on this dimension at all. Or, for that matter, progress in any way while you're here.

[ Wait, maybe she fucked that up. ] Though "afraid" may be the wrong word for it. It sounds as though these events are rather a stress for you, so for them to be absent from your life could be a reprieve.

Even if the threat of the Galra Empire is not reflective of this dimension, I don't believe there will ever truly be a reprieve from Zarkon...

It isn't, I understand that such a trait may be uncommon for other species.

My race of people, the Alteans, have always had the ability to shapeshift to better match and blend in with our surroundings.

It's good that she found that little 'time has stopped' rule on her own, as it's one he just only found out himself, so he'll refrain from repeating what's already been said.

As people have already mentioned, until you return, your world is almost on pause -- if that makes sense. Well, I know it makes little sense, but perhaps it is a small comfort that you will still be able to handle matters at home before they escalate.

This is still quite a lot to take in. I had been asleep for over 10,000 years prior to this and time had not stopped in my absence. Things had gotten much worse, actually. So it's a bit difficult to convince myself that my own dimension will be put on pause while I am here.

Well not necessarily a space princess, but the princess of my homeplanet, Altea. Which...is--was located in space, as are all planets.

[ North has never heard of Zarkon, so he isn't concerned that her battles and his overlap and that this is all some unannounced training scenario (although it's crossed his mind). He's curious, though, about one of the few people he's seen make reference to intergalactic events. ]

What system is Altea in?

The system that Altea is in no longer exists. It's...been over ten thousand years since my planet had been destroyed, so even if you were from my universe I...would not be surprised if you hadn't heard of it.

One of my best friends back home was a princess too. Alisha, from Hyland. She lived in the capital of Ladylake. I'm Sorey. I'd say I could offer to help with Zarkon, but....

[As she has said. It's kind of difficult to do much if anything about the situations back home from here.]

Zarkon is the leader of the Galra Empire. He is a ruthless monster who has been enslaving innocents and destroying kingdoms for over ten thousand years where I'm from. He will stop at nothing to conquer the galaxy.

she visibly sighs, pinching the bridge of her nose to calm herself for the sake of a better first impression.]

I...apologize. I'm not quite certain I've heard of Hyland or Ladylake. But it is good to meet you, Sorey, even if the circumstances of my arrival are not by my choosing.

At the very least, Zarkon does not seem to be a threat to this universe.

This Earth is pretty safe. As far as I know, at least. We're more likely to be attacked by another country than by another planet.
