i know some people came here with these powers from their home world.
but some of us didn't. some of us were normal, until we weren't. and i know i can't be the only one who is afraid of what we were given.

why do we have these powers?
to make us useful? to keep us in line?

and is there any way we can shut it off?

i don't know how it works. if we're altered on a genetic level, if it has something to do with the nanites, if it's something else entirely.

altered on a genetic level makes it sound like some sort of sick science experiment or something.

[Which. Would not be unheard of back home. To say the least, with the Hyakuya Sect. Not that Yuu himself recalls said experiments forced on him and the other orphans.]

I guess. All of us have the nanite things though, right?

[He's not as concerned about the tattoo. His skin is marked and darkened when he allows Ashuramaru to take over anyway. Though that at least does fade once he regains control after the fight.]
