Behind him, something tiny and black moves, and he picks his hair up and away from it, pulling it over his shoulder for lack of anything else to do with it. A sharp-eyed observer will note that the black thing is a wing. It's small, but it's clearly a pointy, leathery bat wing. Presumably, there's a matching one.]

So... I guess I was ported out.

[His very first port-out after a year and a half. What a strange experience. Riku pauses. He's pretty sure he... owes some people an apology.]

Uh -- sorry. From what I can tell it hasn't been very long, though...? A day or so tops, I think. I saw Kagami made a post, so I thought I should clear things up.

[He's surprised you all panicked, honestly...]

I guess I should thank you all for worrying, though.

Oh, good. That's really good. I've always gone home myself, so I don't know what the other one is like.

Yeah, I agree. It's a bit of a cop out we don't remember anything when we go home, really.

I hear it's like... being in some kind of limbo. And if we remembered when we went home, then... it'd be like being here, only in reverse. I think the best thing that could happen is if we were able to go back and forth.

I think so too. America is nice and everything, but I miss the weather. Actually, quite a lot.

What's the weather like where you're from? For me, it's kind of like Heropa, actually.

A lot milder than this. Couple of rainy periods and overcast days, but it made you appreciate it when the sun did come out. Here, it's just a daily thing and it gets a bit same-y after a while.

Mm, makes sense. Well, I guess there's always another Porter city, if you got really desperate for different weather.
