[text; wee hours of the morning]
Do you believe in God? Gods? Do they exist where you're from? What about angels or demons or anything like that?
Where I'm from the existence of gods is hard to deny. People are pretty devote and religious. Church is an intrinsic part of our culture. It takes someone pretty hardheaded or self-centered to deny the existence of higher powers, but here there's not much emphasis on religion. Guess I'm just kinda curious now. Is it more like my home in your worlds, or more like this one?
[Joaquin may be slightly drunk, or perhaps he's just tired.]

What's the weirdest story you've heard then since you have been here?

Gosh, I don't know if I have anything that tops when tons of imports were suddenly much, much younger than they usually are for two weeks before they returned to being normal. That was so bizarre.
Or maybe when the Russians managed to kidnap about fifty of the imports and kept them all on a submarine. Can you imagine that, being stuck underwater for nearly a two weeks and never knowing that's where you were?
This world is so strange, Maria. I'm glad you got to come experience it. I'm glad Manolo and I get to experience it! But I think I'm actually feeling homesick for once.

How young is young?
[ How in the world...? ]
I am sorry to hear that.
Perhaps we should take a trip down to Mexico.
I know it won't be the same, exactly

[This world is cray, Maria. You just gotta go with it.]
That could be nice. I'm pretty sure Manolo was given an open invitation to go back to Mexico any time after our brief stint as ambassadors. Turns out his music is popular there in this world.
Maybe we could find San Angel. See what it looks like during this century.

It's good to know the people enjoy it now.
But that would be something!
I can't imagine what it would be like.
Perhaps it has grown.

I'm sure it has grown! Cities are so big here, and there's so many people and ways to get around.
I bet San Angel's built up around the lake now! Maybe there are more bridges and churches and places for kids to play.
[Now he's really starting to feel nostalgic!]

Maybe they got rid of the stadium! Or at least stopped putting bulls on display.
We should find out.

Yeah, let's get Manolo and do some research on it.
I wonder if dad's statue is still there? Did he even exist in this world?

Football seems to be a popular sport in this time.
[ Yes gud, kick each other and not the bulls. Perf! ]
I hadn't thought about that.
I suppose we would have to wait and see?

Now you've got me excited. I haven't taken a trip with Manolo in a while and
It would be nice to spend some time with you two again. I think I've let work occupy too much of my time lately.
