video;

[The screen of their communicators flickers to life with a fluorescent glow. Initially, there's only a hint of someone there-- thick red fabric, chain mail, a hammer.]

I had prayed to come to good tidings. Greet friends, and assuage fears. To bolster thy strength with mine own.

Instead, I come here haunted by past misgivings I thought requited, by a name all too familiar to me. If you know him as well, I would like to speak to him.

[It doesn't sound like a request. The image swings up high to a broad faced man with long blonde hair. A winged helmet. His eyebrows are drawn down across a brow rigid as though it were carved from stone.]

To my friend.

He's here. Somewhere. Not the same Tony I'm familiar with in my world, but there is a Tony Stark. [Causing trouble, the usual. Well, honestly she doesn't have the same level of hate for this Tony as she does the one she knew back home, but there are some things that never change. Like Starks causing trouble.]

Wanda Maximoff. The younger, less experienced version.

[Yeah, it seems like two things are pretty constant so far when she's heard about other versions of herself: She's older, and has a far more lengthy resume when it comes to heroic -- and no so heroic -- antics. So, she's just started to assume that's how everyone who finds her familiar knows her.]

As in, I'm 27 and have only been Avenger back home for a little over a year.

[She's so chill about this. She got over the multiverse shock pretty quickly when she first arrived here several months ago.]

[At that, she offers him a smile.] You look well, yourself. Is that a correct observation?

[He looks, appearance wise, a bit different than the Thor she knew, but he appears to be in one piece (then again, it's probably hard to tell when someone as strong as an Asgardian isn't fine). She hadn't known Thor well back home, or for very long. But once the Avengers put aside - briefly, in some cases - their rightful grudges against her for her mind warping of them and trusted her and Pietro enough to let them be part of the team to help evacuate Sokovians off the flying and doomed city of Novi Grad, Thor was a hell of a fighter and teammate. That she had to respect. Plus, he's been off helping from a distance, what with his search on the rest of the inifnity stones.]

I'll admit that while here, I find myself relating to one of those candy bars labeled 'fun size' in comparison to how those of you from similar universes to mine know me. Not necessarily a bad thing. [She finds it almost amusing, actually, her the tinier (younger/experience-wise) version of something bigger (older/experience-wise).] Dare I ask which of our similar universes you hail from? [As she's not sure of the which there. There are at least three universe versions being represented in their people here so far.]

[She nods slightly; perhaps so - it's disorienting enough arriving in a new place and not know how, but to arrive and hear news as he did, well, it's understandable.] I'm sure you'll hear from many of them sooner rather than later. [Maybe even Tony too, who knows.] I'm glad to hear we're on good terms from your perspective - you were an Avenger too I assume?
