Those of you from an alternate Earth, what similarities or differences have you noticed between this world and yours? Specifically, I'm looking to pinpoint where a great deal of our common ground lies, and if there's a trend where most timelines appear to diverge. Discussion encouraged.

Can you tell me more about the Cold War?

Only if you'd like a novel-length explanation. I'm German, and Germany was center stage during the Cold War, which followed in the wake of World War II, where again, the country played a major part.

Or if you'd prefer, we could discuss it in person to allow you time for questions and such.

I can attempt a summary if you're not interested in a detailed history lesson, but I can't promise anything there.

Any reasonable time will work. It's easiest for me to get around De Chima, but I can use the porters if necessary.

Also to note, I'm not incredibly familiar with how this world's version of the war has progressed. With imports and different technologies, it's certainly off track of the one most seem to be familiar with. But I can tell you what I've observed of it of course.
