Space? An undisclosed location out there in the cosmos? It is one of nine realms in my universe, Earth is another.

So this place, this alternate universe thing, that's not so unusual to you. That's lucky.

Not really. It is being stuck in one universe/dimension that I find unusual. And boring, if I am to be honest.

I've met a zombie version of myself and it was amazing!

What's a zombie version?

A zombie is a corpse that has been reanimated. In popular culture they lack sentience and typically hunt others down so they can consume their brain.

I met a version of myself like that...granted it does raise disturbing questions. Like how did I did in the first place?

What did you do, kill it?

I ran from it, naturally, though later I used it against a transdimensional parasite called Mother.

Is this what I have to look forward to?

Only if you are from the zombie reality and or you happen to be a transdimensional parasite. Honestly, I thought the parasite had it worse, the zombie was amazing, creepy...gross...terrifying to be anywhere near...but amazing.

I'd like to avoid both, right, if at all possible. Avoiding your swear-ins and big group gatherings seems to have done a good job of that for me, so far.

As this is merely one of many universes and dimensions I am almost certain that there is a you out there devouring brains and terrorizing the villages. I try not to think about it terribly much, existential crisis and all.

That's a very specific thing to be almost certain about.

It shouldn't be surprising given the design of this particular world. People dropping in from various realities, some alternate realities of the world they come from, I feel it would be remiss not to consider the possibilities.

That is a fair point, but there could be multiple yous so you could be king of China and you could be a Zombie, or you could be a glitter covered clown performing street tricks for enamored passersby.
