I know a number of more modern sorts here who would disagree on that.

Then they aren't having proper conversations.

And then we have the far less modern ones who would say speaking over these little things doesn't qualify, either.

It's true; the best conversations are held face to face. If I do start a business deal over these computer things, right, I expect it to move off of them quickly.

Well, yes, that does make the most sense for business. You can't really shake hands over these. Can't say I mind the distance when making fun of a few people over the network, though.
