[With a bowed head, the man on screen acknowledges his audience. His features are sharp, his smile disciplined, but however cleverly disguised his inner machinations, even on camera there is an unmistakable air of ostentation about him. How fortunate for those listening that he appears to have politely reined that in a little.]
I am Seymour Guado, a Maester of Yevon from Spira...a world that I suspect none among you are familiar with.
[Seemingly apologetic, Seymour shakes his head and offers a clear view of blue veins like a mask over his eyes and his very, very strange hair, a sort of blue-violet and horned. Behind him is the interior of his new home in Maurtia Falls, a temporarily spartan-looking abode that is also home to Luffy and Zoro.]
I cannot say that I'm pleased to find myself here as I've a great many responsibilities that require my attention where I come from, but I will nevertheless endeavor to help those in need, just as I would do back home. In fact, nothing would please me more—except, perhaps, the opportunity to become better acquainted with those of you sharing my circumstance.
[Here, he gestures towards the camera with one hand, large and manicured, with long nails barely visible for the billowy sleeve of the robe he's wearing.]
Might you introduce yourselves? And, should you have advice you wish to share, or questions that weigh heavily upon your minds, as I'm certain you must...please do not hesitate to ask. I will gladly answer to the very best of my ability.
[A final polite goodbye before, taking a step back and bowing his head above hands cupped together before him, Seymour cuts the feed.]

I'm afraid I've never heard of either Yevon or Spira- but if you wish to learn more about this world, you have my assistance.
My name is Sabriel- fifty-third Abhorsen of the Old Kingdom, and currently a member of RISE.
Video
I would be most grateful for any assistance you are willing to lend me, Lady Sabriel.
[Does she deserve the title? Does she even want it? Seymour doesn't know, but Abhorsen sounds as though it may be a station of great importance, and even if it should only matter in her own world, Sabriel also claims to be a member of this...RISE. Whatever that is.
A military-based operation, perhaps, if its name is suggestive of anything. But even if it is not, even if RISE is not some kind of influential power here, there's no harm in making a good impression right out of the gate.]
I wonder if you would tell me a little bit about RISE?
Video
RISE is an imPort organization based in Maurtia Falls, though we coordinate with the authorities in all the Porter cities.
Given the nature of imPort powers, those who decide to break the law are often too much for police to deal with. RISE is tasked with dealing with them, as well as other threats local authorities can't handle, and with making sure there's a trusting relationship between imPorts and locals.

I'm Felix. Welcome to Earth, circa fucking forever ago.
[ He lifts his eyebrows. ]
What's a Yevon?
no subject
[Unhurriedly, Seymour bows his head in acknowledgment.]
I'm very pleased to make your acquaintance. Do you come from a more developed world than this Earth?
[He manages to sound both curious and enthused as he rights himself, his smile intense and his eyes sharply focused.]
Yevon is a religious order and way of life on Spira, its teachings sacred and very dear to many people. My job as a Maester is to oversee its temples and to teach the people.
no subject
[ Unfortunately, what Felix knows about religion and spirituality could fit into a thimble. ]
I'm from about five hundred years in the future. People are traveling through space, colonizing other planets and visiting new worlds. Being stuck on one all the time's a little rough.
[ Though, in the interest of not being a total tool all the time, he finds himself asking; ]
What's it about, Yevon? How to be decent to each other?

As you wish.
[Moving right along, then...]
The pleasure is mine, Mahanon. [With a hint of amusement, Seymour continues.] I do believe I have already encountered such people. Their queries seemed endless but were mostly of an inoffensive and frivolous nature. Were you also the target of such interest when you arrived?
no subject
I've been here six months now--over six months, actually--and I still get an uncomfortable amount of attention. They're lucky I'm accustomed to being an oddity at this point. [ he heaves a sigh. ] And they can unintentionally be wildly offensive.

video;
Our home worlds remain exactly as they are until we return. It's not much of a comfort, but it does make it a bit easier to accept our circumstances.
[to know that there was nothing to be missed until they returned home...it was this world's greatest gift, Jonathan thinks. it allowed imPorts to truly open themselves up to all the experiences here.]
My name is Jonathan Joestar - or simply Jojo, if you prefer. While I'm not the best person to give advice, I would say that you ought to be ready to be constantly surprised. No matter how long you stay here, there will always be something unexpected.
video;
[Truly, Seymour does not relish the idea of finding his way back to a Spira that has continued to exist without him. Yuna, her guardians, and the son of Jecht...they are problematic enough without giving them months or, in the case of some trapped here in this world, even years to prepare for his return.]
Jonathan, if it pleases you, and you have my thanks. [And something that seems to be caught between a laugh and a sigh.] As for surprises, I should expect no shortage of them. After all, teeming with possibility, life is the mother of the unexpected.

You are not the first to ask, and I doubt you will be the last. I am a Guado. We are similar in appearance to humans in many ways, and in many more we are different.
[Generally taller, longer of limbs and faster...with claw-like hands, prominent veins on their faces, and hair that can only be described as floral for its similarity to a tree's roots.]
My hair and other features are a result of my heritage.
[And drunk af character design.]

Kitty Jones. Pleasure.
[ It is also not particularly helpful or forthcoming. Indeed, she pivots at once into topics more interesting to her: ]
What are your responsibilities, anyways?
no subject
[Albeit little more than a nod of his head, the bow Seymour offers Kitty doesn't appear to lack in courtesy.]
I aspire to be a leader whom the people can turn to in times of crises or during periods of doubt, and also oversee temple affairs in Spira. Of course, the latter isn't terribly exciting, but it is of the utmost importance, for Spira's temples house the fayth for summoners, and they are Spira's true hope...her sword and her shield against destruction.

I'd say "welcome" but it doesn't seem appropriate after being kidnapped across dimensions.
[He gives a small wave regardless.]
I'm Normie Osborn. Uh... President of OsCorp.
[Which explains his backdrop--a large corner office in De Chima.]
Is there anything specific you want to know about?
video;
[Seymour smiles diplomatically.]
I thank you for your warm welcome, but I feel I must also apologize in advance. You see, Spira is unlike Earth, and I've a great many questions about this world's technology, politics, faith, and even more mundane things...such as where I might find a clothier who caters specifically to an outworlders' needs.
[As finely made as some suits are, they are entirely too conservative for his liking.]

Dorian Gray, formerly of London, currently of Maurtia Falls. As for advice...this world gives us plenty of opportunities. Only an idiot would pass them by.

Especially a Square Enix one?Well, sorry Seymour. Here he is. With all of his boundless energy and smiles.]
Hey there! It's good to meet you too, Seymour [ utterly not remembering his manners obviously. ]
I'm Sora and I guess I have to ask what Spira must be like.
video
[Politely, Seymour bows his head and, when he rises again, smiles at the young man. He does not correct the boy and ask to be called Maester. Corrections always fell to his subordinates, and Seymour would prefer to be liked by people and not seen as someone rigid and unpleasant.]
Spira is a much simpler world than this, quiet in some corners, lively in others, and teeming with magic and spirituality...which isn't to say ours is a world without conflict. Quite the opposite, I'm afraid. But we manage, I think, with the help of summoners and the passing of time.
[Because time heals all wounds or some such garbage.]
What is the world like where you come from, if I may ask?
Video
I'm Kidou. It's good to meet you.
You don't need to worry about what could happen back home. Any time you spend here isn't going to pass back in your world.
Video
[Even so, that does not eliminate Seymour's desire to return to Spira. There may be things he can accomplish here, but how much of them will mean anything by the time he's returned to where he belongs? More importantly, how can he possibly become Sin here in this world?]
Have you been here for very long, Kidou?
[The goggles more than the cape are a curious accessory, reminiscent of the Al Bhed's desire to hide their eyes. Seymour wonders if Kidou's reasoning is the same...or if it is just childish whim that compels him to be different.]
